My Notes edit

My self-summary

I am quite possibly the sexiest man alive. I'm a weird, intelligent, talented, mischievous, and sometimes lazy person. I'm a scientist, a musician, a nerd, and a lover. I have insatiable curiosity about the nature of our universe, and, as a man of science, love to proven wrong, so long as progress has been made. I can admit when I'm wrong, and I consider it one of my best traits. There are many things that we thing we know, but can't logically claim to know. It seems many of you are looking for intelligent conversations. Look no further, I'm so tired of a lifetime of dumbing-down everything I talk about. Let's see if you can keep up with me, cause I'm quite the cunning linguist. It's been a long strange trip for me, and it's not even halfway over! I'm a sensitive guy, and need emotional support from the ones I love. I'm very open sexually and am rather liberal in my opinions relating to most everything. I'm confident, but not as much nowadays, so a little ego-stroking might help me. I'm a very caring, gentle person and love to do nice things for my friends, family, and significant other. It brings me pleasure to bring others pleasure. I like to get into trouble and generally only enjoy things that are novel or the least bit dangerous (I like skiing, jet-skiing, riding things with motors, etc.)
Anyways, I need love and some good lovin' (separately, if necessary) right now to be healthy. I was in love with someone, but she moved away. It's taken me a while to get over her, but now I think I'm ready. What I mean is that while I would like a casual partner, a long-term relationship would ultimately be what I want. I'm not going to settle until I am sure, though. I'm going to be rather picky this time.
Physically, I like my ladies to have some meat on their bones, I rarely find very skinny people attractive. I like a little pooch. Big asses and thighs are my preference. Damn I sound cocky.

Another thing: I have not yet met a person who doesn't like having fun or "a good time." "I like to have fun" is quite possibly the most boring thing one could say. Fun = enjoyable, obviously.

What I'm doing with my life

I work part-time at a local computer repair shop. When I'm not there, I work as an independent computer technician, providing on-site service for homes and businesses. I like working for myself, because I can set my own schedule and take on as little or as much work as I want.
Schoolwise, I'm attending Guilford Technical School for Recording Engineering. I attended UNC-Chapel Hill for 3 years majoring in physics. I hope to have a varied career in music and music technology. A symbiosis of engineering, composition, and performance.

I'm really good at

I've been a pianist for 14 years, with a focus on jazz and improvisational styles of playing. I'm a nerd so I'm very technically minded and enjoy tinkering with computers or working on cars. I like anything hands-on where fabrication and design is involved. I'm a pretty good driver, have raced professionally before. Finally, I'm a very, very good massoose, and I can give a backrub that'll put you in a coma for a couple hours. I tend to get absorbed into most everything I do. I'm dedicated in the bedroom, and am very perceptive to my partner's needs (emotional or sexual).

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me

Folks usually notice my friendliness and honesty, and then (hopefully) that I am intelligent. Physically, most people notice my deep green eyes and grabbable ass.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

(A)Books: anything physics or science. For example, The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene. Also really in to science fiction books like Orwell's 1984.
(B)Movies: Sci-Fi, of course. I like Matrix-type weird movies, like Equilibrium. Also into shows like Battlestar Galactica.
(C)Music: My musical taste spans many genres. I try to give any type of music equal respect but there are some genres that I just can't enjoy, such as Pop Country, Pop Rap, and christian music of any type. Some of my favorite genres are death metal, drum 'n bass, and jazz fusion. A few of my favorite bands are King Crimson, Tool, Opeth, Photek, Amon Tobin, Miles Davis, Rachmaninoff, System of a Down, Mr. Bungle, and Negativland.
(D)Food: Jalapeno Hot-Salse Sunflower Seeds - a main staple of my diet. Southern cooking, Japanese Food, Filet Mignon, fudgesicles

The six things I could never do without

1) My Computers - a small device capable of so many things. I use it for all my music, nearly all my communications, and a lot, lot more.
2) My car - If I lived in a larger city in a different state, I could do without a car. But not around here, having a car is crucial for doing anything. I've got a 1990 Toyota Corolla, and I love it just a little less than my 1967 Ford Galaxie 500, which is too impractical and inefficient to drive everyday but it's beautiful and powerful nonetheless.
3) The Internet - a mandatory addition to #1, I feel the internet will be humanity's saving grace. It connects us in an unprecedented way, and it one of the last bastions of truly free speech.
4) Drugs of every kind - while I don't use every kind of drug by any means, an occasional break from reality is crucial for mental health. Honorable mention goes to marijuana and opiates. I can't and don't use anymore, but I still respect them. I still use drugs, just legal ones nowadays.
5) Sex - often a companion to #4, healthy sex is wonderful and necessary for proper physical and mental health. While sometimes I wish that I didn't have such strong sexual instincts, sex can be a great escape from reality as well. All you women who say you don't want/like sex, well I know better. Men and women like sex equally, otherwise we'd be extinct. If you're repressed in that area, we probably won't get along, cause I'm very open about it, and have been open relationships as well as polyamorous ones in the past.
6) Music - I just don't see how our world could exist without music. Music is primal, and music is an integral thread in the tapestry of my life.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The nature of the universe and especially the concept of time. I think about music from many perspectives. I like to ponder human society and all of its pros and cons, and ways that it could be improved. Thinking about physics usually gets me pretty zoned out. I really enjoy thinking about technical issues and often invent or modify things in my head. Unfortunately since I'm human the drive to procreate is frequently distracting me as well.

On a typical Friday night I am

Either working or chilling with friends and/or playing music.

The most private thing I'm willing to admit here

I'm currently getting treatment for opiate addiction. I'm happy to say that it's working well and I'm amazed at how good normal feels.

You should message me if

You should message me if you like to have intelligent conversations about half the time, and during the other half say goof off and trade backrubs. If you like drum 'n bass, death metal, or science, send me a message. Don't hesitate to message me if you just think I'm hot. Also, if you're smarter than me, give a holler. I love to intimidated by women. By the way, my last two exes are bisexual, so I dig bi ladies.
You should also message me if your mother warned you about me.
If you're cool enough and think you can keep me entertained, sling a message my way. I have a fun and generally happy life that would be even better with a companion to enjoy it with.
You should not message me if you're a crazy woman. (I'm not talking about the good kind of crazy)
