My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm currently in a long distance relationship with a very lovely lady who I wouldn't give up for the world. However, the door is open for something casual in addition, so if you might be interested in that, or just want to be friends(because who doesn't want new friends?) then continue on to the rest of my profile.

I'm not looking for something serious right now, just some cool people to hang out with and see where it goes. I'll own up to being a nerd, but in the words of someone on the internet, a nerd is someone who's passionate about something. I also tend to be competitive about whatever I do, be it Sports, videogames, board games, word games, ect. I also enjoy getting out and doing all sorts of activities. I snowboard when I can afford it(and there's snow on the mountain), and am generally up for most sports or recreational stuff outside. I definitely want to do more of that than I actually do.

I collect dragons, I have a bad habit of getting up and walking away from the computer in the middle of a conversation, and I can easily spend hours lost in a good book. I also tend to multitask my entertainment, so I'll be watching whatever is on TV at the moment while on the computer, and miss half of what's going on in both. I spend WAY too much time online, but that's probably more typical than it should be these days. At one point, I was certified to teach archery, and did so at a summer camp for 2 years. I just bought a bow and am starting to shoot again, so let me know if you have an interest in that.

I keep telling myself that I'll get back in the best shape of my life, finish writing a book(I have 3 incomplete ones), learn to edit video instead of just shooting it, and learn to play guitar, but never get around to doing any of them. Maybe some day, eventually.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as a Videographer. It's usually a little cool, but not nearly as interesting as you'd think.

Lots of attorneys talking, for the most part. Yes that actually is as boring as it sounded.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
According to the surgeon, breaking my wrist, though I can't say I'm happy about that one.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've never really given it much thought. I would have said my hair when it was longer, though it's still not "short" so maybe that still applies.

Or you could message me and say what the first thing YOU noticed was.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Wheel of Time, Maximum Ride, anything by Nora Roberts, Ender's Game, Mistborn, I guess I have to put down Harry Potter too.

Food: I'll take an Italian restaurant any day of the week. Pasta for life. Also, I make a pretty good meatloaf.

Music: Halestorm, AC/DC, The Beatles, Green Day, Dropkick Murpheys, Nickelback(judge me, please), basically anything classic, hard, or mainstream rock.

Shows: Doctor Who, Firefly, Full Metal Alchemist, S-Cry-Ed, House. I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but watch a fair few TV shows online.

Movies: Boondock Saints, Star Wars, Spaceballs, Nightmare Before Christmas.

Video Games(because I play them more than I watch TV): League of Legends, Minecraft, Fire Emblem, Soul Calibur, Pokemon(Yes, I'll own up to this), Final Fantasy VII, Sonic(the old ones or Adventure 2), Skyrim, Borderlands.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I guess the basics for life? I could go all "first world problems" and name the creature comforts of technology and whatnot, but in all honesty that seems pretty superficial. Eh, I'll just say the internet and everything on it, since that encompasses everything. Also, rum. I'll definitely add rum and cokes to this.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why can't life just leave us alone? I'd like to at some point recover from ONE personal/financial disaster before another hits.

Incidentally, that applies to the world at large as well.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Over a friend's place playing board games, card games, or RPG's.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once managed to make my car stall out while doing a 3 point turn. It was an automatic. For some reason I'm just a little proud and scared of this.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you would want me to message you, send a message saying so. I'm far too shy for my own good.

If you've made it down to here, want to chat, or are interested in hanging out.
