My Self-Summary
Humor is hugely important to me. I'm defiantly that guy who's
making a wisecrack. Its unfortunate that I have to hold a lot of
them back when I think of inappropriate ones. I find extremes to be
hilarious.
I do a lot of normal stuff too. Going to movies, hanging out, watching the boob tube, and working, but that stuff's no fun to talk about.
I joined this site a long time ago after getting out of a fairly long relationship. I ignored it completely after getting into another fairly long relationship. Now that I'm single again and have given myself some alone time I'm paying attention to it again.

I played a lot of chess in high school but haven't really since, and would love to find somebody to play with.
I'm a staffer for Magfest where I run the tabletop room. Its fantastic for me as a big time gamer. I eat all the basic gamer food groups: D&D, CCGs, WoW, WH40k, poker, all the other card games, and tons and tons of boardgames.
I'm into Anime, but haven't watched many of the more obscure ones.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I'm a big fan of the Wheel of Time series. I read the first 9
books, but its been so long that I can't get back into the 10th.
There are at least 10,000 characters and they've all blurred
together in my mind. I devoured George R.R. Martin's first 4 books
of A Song of Ice and Fire, and eagerly anticipate book 5. I enjoy
just about every movie I watch, especially bad movies. The key is to suspend the
hell out of your disbelief. I will listen to any music, but like to
call myself a Minibosses fan. For food I love Itallian. I might
just turn into a chicken pretty soon as with my new diet/exercise
program its all I've been eating.
The six things I could never do without
The internet, my computer, my cellphone, a car, my job and my
friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Any manner of things. I like a good "who would beat who in a fight"
discussion. For the most part I am very lighthearted. I only really
think about heavy stuff when I'm in a bad mood, which isn't very
often.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with my friends (stock answer?). Or working. Sometimes
a group of friends and I gather together for something called
Rifftrax. Its kinda like MST3K. I do get a poker night in once in a while. Its also
fairly common for my roommates to be doing something that leads to
my intoxication.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm a gamer. I play D&D, video games, board games (such as
Settlers of
Cataan Chess,
Carcasonne).
About half of what I ever say is probably sarcasm, yes, even in this profile.
I'm also putting up a lot of detail about a lot of the nerdy stuff I do. Its over-represented in this profile for two reasons. 1.) I tend to get blinders on when describing myself and only rail on about one aspect. 2.) I'm a nerd and its best you were comfortable with that.
I used to play a pen and paper RPG called L7R. It is L5R (Fantasy Samurai setting) but with a completely re-done rules system that makes use of rules from seventh sea. I'm currently in a Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil D&D group.
