My self-summary
After seven years on this site, I'm going to start with all the perceived negatives about me.

I do not text. I think it's a waste of everyone's time and energy.

I am a gentleman, who I believes in chivalry. If you don't like being treated like an equal (possibly a superior), I am not the one for you.

I want someone that I can read with (the two of us in a room, reading different books, possibly with music), cuddle with (not a euphemism), exercise with, or talk with. All four are preferable, with the last one mandatory.

I am a nerd. I go to science fiction conventions, and Comic Con. I loved the marvel studio movies.
What I’m doing with my life
I wear so many hats, it's not even funny. To start with, I am a published author. Look for a novel called "A Pius Man," on Amazon. That's me. You can match up the photo with one of mine. Yes, I wrote a murder mystery set at a science fiction convention. So sue me, I'm a bit of a nerd.

I am also a marketing rep for Ambit Energy.

And I'm working at Polytech University in communications.

Is that enough?
I’m really good at
Usually, anything I put my mind to. If you're willing to teach me, I'm willing to learn.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told that it's my blue eyes, my friendly smile, or that I scare the crap out of everybody.

Most likely, it's the book I'm reading.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A) I'll read anything that isn't nailed down. Terry Prachett,Brad Thor, David Lindsay's Dexter, John Ringo, David Weber, Timothy Zhan, Jim Butcher, Terry Goodkind, J. Michael Straczynski, Peter David novels. Vince Flynn
And almost anything by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. And that's just the short list.

B) Films: Die Hard (a true Christmas film), Star Wars (The Empire Strikes back for father's day), Indiana Jones, Patriot Games, Lord of the Rings special edition, and others

C) Music: Classical, Nightwish, Cruxshadows, Heather Alexander, Dragonforce, movie soundtracks, some country, most of John Williams' soundtracks, and whatever I like. Enya, Clannad. U2 (the joshua tree was really the last GOOD CD). Basically, I'm all over the place.

D) TV..... 24, CSI (NY, mostly), Babylon 5, NCIS, Castle, Mentalist, Joss Whedon products, Revenge, Criminal Minds, Hawaii 5-0, Royal Pains, White Collar; I have recently gotten into, and finished, Dr. Who. Burn Notice (MacGyver for the dark side) and Dexter on DVD. And I miss Chuck already.
The six things I could never do without
God, my books, my family, and writing. I know I'm two short, but I've forced myself to go without so much for so long, I've made do.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I write stuff. Most of my thought are how to write stuff, and what to write. I go into a new place, and my first thought is how I would set a chapter there -- possibly by how I could best write a shoot out there.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing. Why, you have a better offer?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Feel free to ask. I may answer.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–34
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
If you're here to play games, they better be either board, card, or video games. Otherwise, I don't play. This includes an unwillingness to meet in person (penpals excluded, obviously) -- please take a few days / weeks / months to screen out the weirdos, but after a while, you're just screwing around.

I am a conservative Catholic New Yorker, or just plain "very Catholic." You do not have to share my beliefs to contact me, just respect my right to have them. Thanks. But if you want to be more than friends, be Catholic -- it sounds harsh, but I'm tired of being told "what I believe" by people who can't tell the difference between what the Vatican says, and what Dan Brown says.
