This seems like fun and I like fun. I'm a little jaded(hate that word) but not so much that I won't try new things. I like to stay in shape but I also love junk food when the mood hits. I'd drink root beer over beer any day but can't stray too far from the sauce on weekends/holidays/special occassions/Fight Night/Moustache May.
I'm personable to a fault, where even the undeserving get the royal treatment. But I'm not a doormat. I try to stray from negative thoughts and people, but that's sometimes unavoidable. I rarely say things with finality because once I do, I stick to it.
I drive fast and very well. These are rare things to combine. Walk outside your dwelling and observe and you'll see exactly what I mean. I love my car because it has never said a bad word nor made me jealous. It's good to keep busy sometimes, especially with something that can't hurt ya.
I have a cat we rescued from a stinky, oily, freezing mud puddle at school. Half starved and half dead, we nursed him back to health and now he's fat, spoiled, and shiny. And he deserves it all.
I have more toys than most 12 year olds. I love my toys.
I read whatever I can get my hands on from novels to brochures to poetry to receipts to ingredient labels. Anything and everything in between. Between TV and books, I'd give up TV sooner. But I still have over 200 DVDs, mostly comedy, horror, and my fav. TV and cartoon series. Mostly cartoons. Yeah.
I play guitar and piano and I sing. I love all types of music, particularly when the artists behind it have talent. But sometimes silly music can be fun, especially if it was meant to be, as opposed to crap music meant to be taken seriously. I'll stop here before I offend anyone. Smiles! :-D
I run every day I can. Running is the fastest, most primordial way to get around. It's been in our DNA at least since Australopithicus stood up about 4 million years ago. Did I mention that I love Lucy?
I box and practice Muay Thai. They keep me strong and fast and it's fun to beat each other up in a controlled environment then hug afterwards. My sparring partners are like my brothers. We share blood, sweat, and yes, sometimes even our cliche tears.
I'm sort of sick of this country. I like to travel and when I get out there I rarely want to come back. People should not complain until they see the rest of the world.

After graduating with two majors (English and Anthropology), I had a brief flirtation with law school. Things didn't work out and we parted on amicable terms. I brooded for a few months then got my Masters in creative writing and I couldn't be happier.
I am currently a freelance writer and stock trader. It pays the bills.
I have a degree in computer networking and repair that is gathering dust. But hey, I earned it!

Today.

There really is no "typical" Friday night. I might be out 'til 7 in the morning. I might be drunk or I might not be. I might be walking by the Piers in the City or I might be at some local bar. I might be playing videogames all night alone or at a friend's house. I might be at a house party or a loft party. I might be at a metal concert. Or the Met.
Mostly, I like to chill out on Fridays and save the craziness for Saturday. But of course, that's not always the case!
