My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a fun loving and fairly open-minded woman, who enjoys good jazz, relaxed company and stimulating conversation, over a nice meal. Engaging in athletic and intellectual pursuits, with a fit, bright counterpart, are very pleasant pastimes, too. Ideally, I would like to take leisurely strolls around town, hike, shoot pool and play tennis, etc., with a simpatico neighbor/partner, who lives in my immediate vicinity. I avoid the freeways like the plague and am disinclined to travel more than about a 5 mile -surface street- radius around my general 90046 zip code location, which is just adjacent to Hollywood and WeHo.

My work, as a freelance photojournalist, has taken me on many fascinating adventures. I'm semi-retired, now, and not into the bar scene, or being "fixed up," by well-meaning friends. So, it's my hope to find an easy going, humorous, kindhearted companion, with similar sensibilities, ideologies and good character, via this venue. (beguiling smile) There's much to be said for good communication and social skills. In other words, if you decide to message me, elaborate on something we share in common, so as to initiate a conversation and please sign your name. You may be surprised at how many don't think to do so. Ha, ha!

For mutual attraction purposes please have at least one picture posted, be 55 or older, height/weight proportionate, Unattached and have no relatives or roommates permanently living with you. Also, please be a non-cigarette smoker (occasional 420 is okay) and stand 5'9" or taller (I adore looking up to my mate, both literally and figuratively). Oh and No bisexuals, please. Kindly respect my criteria and refrain from contacting me if you don't meet it. Thanks! (winsome smile)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, let me see now, my life -at this stage- is one of ongoing self discovery. I need not answer to anyone, as I'm my own boss, which is a freedom earned after many trials & tribulations. In the past, life's ups and downs kept me busy overcoming obstacles, for a while. Creative expression is more focused and a sense of serenity soothes my spirit, since necessary moderating elements are finally in line......... If this resonates and you can relate to it, then we'll probably get along very well.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...being myself. I'm the devoted type, who takes good care of her mate, always endeavoring to make him happy. I've been a widow, for several years now, but previously enjoyed a successful 27 year marital track record...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
...are my laughing eyes and warm, sweet smile...
Also, I look like my photos. Please look like yours, too. The pictures with the pixie-cut hair style are very current and reflect my -True- self. The one wearing a bobbed cut is not recent, nor is the one in the little black dress, but I haven't changed too much since they were taken. Staying fit, living an active, healthy lifestyle, without much alcohol and no tobacco, apparently has its advantages... ♪★♫

...you meet my basic criteria, outlined in the self-summary section, and are seeking a casual friendship that may - when built upon mutual truth/trust - blossom into something more intimate. No pressure should be involved. You'd be inclined to agree that nothing should ever be forced or rushed... As the late great Mae West once said: "Anything worth doing is worth doing slowly." ;-)
