Recently took a new job and dramatically changed my hours and work schedule. I now work closer to nine to fiveish for the first time in my life. In the couple of months since, I realize that I no longer have the same schedule as most of my friends. So with that, I am one of the few people on here that truly means it when I say I am interested in meeting new and interesting people, regardless of the romantic possibilities.
I am a laid back person who equally likes nights out with a crowd or quiet down time. I went to highschool in Michigan, college in Florida, lived in Alaska and been in SF for 10 years now (if it is not three thousand miles, its not worth moving!) I really enjoy live music of all types and food and wine is my profession. Honesty is the most inportant thing to me. I am a very logic based person, so drama of any kind is counterproductive in my opinion.
San Francisco over Los Angeles
New Orleans over Las Vegas
Jazz Fest over Burning Man
It's all about the soul and style
(This does not mean that I think there is anything wrong Burning Man or that if you are a burner, we can't date. It just means that I think there is more soul at Jazz Fest. Apparently there are some defensive burners out there.)
I think love is rare and happens more often when you are not looking. So with that being said, I am open to all possibilities on this site. There are no expectations and no pressure. I have come across profiles that I think we would be great friends with no romantic involvement and that is great. I like to meet interesting people and discovering their viewpoint.
If you only listen to electronica and live Burning Man all year, we probably are not a great match but I will still really like you as a person.
If you are looking for a partner who will totally take care of you so you don't have to worry about the harder parts of life, we probably don't agree. I want a partner with goals and dreams of their own that wants to work together to achieve that life. But I will wish you good luck on your search.
If you get offended very easily, or take dry or sarcastic comments as personal offenses, you will probably end up being annoyed with me and I will feel like I'm walking on eggshells around you.
Every question in the Questions section of this site could be answered by "it depends". I don't believe in mandatory and think being flexible is a key to happiness.
Correction: came across two mandatory questions ...one about if you would end a relationship with a pediophile, and one about sabotaging birth control even if you knew it was against your partners wishes! Guess I draw the line at TOTALLY FUCKED UP!!
