My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
When we meet for the first time, you will notice my good manners, and my witty, dry sense of humor. I will probably make you laugh a couple times, and if I like you, I'll probably tell you that on our first or second date. My kids say that I have an obvious "tell" when I'm not being 100% honest with them, so I tend to always tell the truth. It's much simpler that way.

I like to sing karaoke, and I totally bring it. I've always thought about doing stand up comedy, just for fun, like at an open mike.

I love playing tennis, and I think it would be cool to meet a woman who plays, or is willing to learn. It's not a requirement, but imagine how much fun that would be. Come on, I'll teach you.

I'm ready to meet a fantastic woman who is willing to commit to creating an "us" that makes us both better people.

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Making reservations.

Making the Olympic Rings with the condensation from my beer glass.

Making timely quips during conversation.

Making you laugh.

Oh, and making sandwiches.

I'm reading "East of Eden" again. I'm not sure why, but maybe because Oprah said it was a good book. I always read the book before I see the movie. Just finished the Divergent series, and Zone One, a zombie book. Also Cloud Atlas and The Fault in Our Stars. Not going to see that movie - too close to home...

I love Game of Thrones, and enjoyed the last season. Hate to admit it, but I'm addicted to True Blood. I love Top Chef, and have dreams about going to all the Top Chef restaurants. I've been to Stefan's LA Farm in Santa Monica, and it's great. Maybe Ink next? Interested?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to end world hunger, especially among kids. When I figure this out, I'll probably become very famous, but I'll try to stay humble.

What I would do with 169 million dollars when I win the lottery.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm a widower. That's not really private, but it's better that you know that up front so you don't get that shocked "oh my God" look on your face when you find out.
