My self-summary
I manage a business in midtown Manhattan. At the age of twelve someone put a bass guitar in my hands and that was when I found out that I was musically inclined. Music has always been a big part of my life since then. I'm a kind, caring and easygoing person who wants to bring happiness to this world. I'm spontaneous and it is not unusual for me to just pick up and go when ever and where ever I feel like. I'm a romantic man, I like to be close to and bring joy to the woman in my life.
What I’m doing with my life
I go to concerts when there is some one I want to see. I work out every day and I watch my diet so I can feel and look my best. I still love my work and I have a great time with all of my clients. I would like to travel but I never get around to actually doing it (maybe if I had someone to push me and go with me I would). I like to try new things (my last trip to Florida I gave zip lining a whirl as well as wave running). I dine out when I can and I'm always looking to try something new. Mostly I just try to keep it simple but I can't resist trying something new and turning others onto it. I'm going through a personal/spiritual change in my life. My sense is that there is more for me to learn about life, who we are and how do we (The Human Race) fit into the greater universe around us and within us. I am searching for answers and along the way I am still having fun just being me.
I’m really good at
being a friend when you really need one who is always there (even at 2 in the morning). I won't let anyone down when I'm needed. I once was a very good bass player but I had to stop playing because I had surgery on my hand and it was botched by the doctor. A recent visit with another doctor fixed what was wrong so I can play again. I actually played professionally at one time. I'm not a chef but I've been told I'm a pretty good cook. If you need a handy man then I'm your guy. Some how I can fix just about anything. I've been told that I have the patience of a saint and I can't argue that point. I do understand that there are other people in the world who don't see the world as I do and I can very easily see what they see. If they are willing to respect my point of view we will have a great friendship.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm very friendly and easy going (I certainly hope my bald head is not the first thing they notice). I have a great sense of humor and I love to make people laugh. My spirituality teaches me that where ever there is hatred I should sow love and where there is injury I should pardon, this is from the prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi and this is how I live my life. Lastly, I'm from the old school when it comes to the respect I bring to the woman I am with so I still open the car door, pull the chair out and walk her to her door at the end of our date.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Although I have always had a fondness for the heavier music (Ozzy, Rush, Van Halen) I do like going to jazz/blues clubs as well as going to see live music from the 40's on up. I don't get too exotic when it comes to food but I'm always willing to try something new. Japanese is my favorite for dining out and Italian when I'm cooking at home which makes sense since I'm of Italian decent. My favorite movie is West Side Story and my favorite TV show is The Big Bang Theory (Sheldon rules). I'm fascinated by the idea of time travel so anything that has to do with it I'm drawn to. There was a movie named The Time Traveller's Wife which was a sleeper but it's a love story disguised as a movie about time travel and every woman who I have seen it with loved it as well. I enjoyed the book Time and again by Jack Finney. As far as Broadway goes surprisingly I was very entertained by Showboat but I was surpringly disappointed by American Idiot.
The six things I could never do without
My music, my friends, my family, good food, my car (so I can get to the music, good food, friends and family) and the greater power that is always watching over us.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How 2 1/2 Men could go from such a funny show to such a lousy show. Of course I'm joking but I do think about how I can continue to grow as a person and as a spiritual being as well as bringing peace to our bruised and battered world. I often think about the stars and the other planets wondering who's out there thinking the same thing about us.
On a typical Friday night I am
Resting because Saturday is a very busy day for me but if something really good comes up that I can't resist I'll just have to go to bed late and catch up on my sleep Sunday morning.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
According to Webster's dictionary the definition of private is "that which is meant to be kept from others". Need I say more?

You should message me if
You want to meet someone who will always be there for you. A man who knows that sharing love and romance with the woman in his life is an important part of a relationship and that part should never die. Someone who likes sharing new adventures and having fun. Lastly, if you are kind, caring and considerate. Oh yeah, you have to like kissing as much as I do.
