I think one of the easiest ways to talk about myself and describe
my personality are through the movies and books I genuinely like. I
really love the Hunt for Red October, the surreality of the
submarine world is something I find incredibly appealing, not
because I want to live that life, but because it is a great escape
from reality. I like Out of Africa for an entirely different
reason. Karen Blixen's character is me, or I am her... Her desires,
her fears, they all reflect some aspect of me. Harry Potter takes
me back to my childhood... To that little part of myself that still
wishes I was able to do magic... That wishes she still believed in
it. Monty Python and the Holy Grail on the other hand speaks to my
sense of humor... I will never be able to see the scene with the
vicious rabbit without falling out of my chair laughing.
Now, I feel like I should make it very clear that I am definitely
seeing someone, and things are going great. :) I am not looking to
complicate matter for us. So why am I here? It seems like a nice
way to meet new people, find like-minded people to exchange quirky
emails, thoughts and ideas.

My self-summary
What I'm doing with my life
Right now, I am trying to find my way... I work full time and I am
doing some volunteer work in a more desirable direction. I guess
like a lot of people out there I am searching for that spark that
tells me that what I am doing is right... I feel that with the
volunteer work, and I am hoping that with time, I will be able to
devote more of myself to it. Other than that, I am trying to enjoy
life, always on the lookout for new experiences in whatever form
they take. On the flip side, I have a favorite restaurant that I go
to every week (NO, not every day... I am not THAT bad), and I find
routine comforting. When I get a little restless I just mix things
up a bit and all is back in order.
