My self-summary
"I know full well that the total amount of the things I know is a tiny little pinprick of light compared with the vast unlimited darkness that surrounds it [...]"

A New England native with big dreams to travel the world creating films. My future goals are to either work on big budget films that may one day be worthy enough to be a Criterion, or to work on docs for NatGeo. In the meantime I'm applying to grad schools for Fall of 2016. Aside from film I'm an avid fan of Harry Potter which may be apparent from my three HP tattoos. Other things I'm into: any and all horror films, animals, video games (red dead, fable, left4dead, borderlands, diablo iii), literature, zombies, ipas, whisk(e)y, the universe, museums, libraries, aquariums, etc...
What I’m doing with my life
I am a recent graduate with a BA in Film Studies. I'm currently drowning in applications to grad schools for an MFA in Film Production. Otherwise I am an amateur filmmaker by day, and your friendly local bartender by night. So far I've been accepted into five film festivals and counting. Yes, I am tooting my own horn, but I worked too hard not to.

Also currently an associate producer on a feature length documentary on Cuban jazz musician Omar Sosa. You should check him out!
I’m really good at
Re-reading Harry Potter when I have hundreds of books I've never read on my shelf.
Film making/watching.
Writing about film (currently trying to get published in FilmMatters).
Academics (seriously I love school).
Finding new museums to visit.
Discussing the zombie apocalypse.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Harry Potter, House of Leaves, The Giver, LOTR, The Hobbit, The Hunger Games, Vonnegut, Palahniuk, so much more that I can't think of at the moment...

Documentaries on the Holocaust, WWII, North Korea, and other terribly depressing things.

Roseanne, The Cosby Show, The Walking Dead, Lost, How I Met Your Mother, Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, Cosmos, etc...

The six things I could never do without
Aside from the obvious friends/family/money/water:

Harry Potter
My Education
Folk/Americana Music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The cosmos, zombies, reasons I shouldn't be procrastinating, and which dinosaur would make the best bacon.
On a typical Friday night I am
Bartending, visiting my friends in Boston, Netflix-ing. Such exciting answers, wow!
You should message me if
...any of this interests you. You're not narrow minded. You want to talk film, literature, video games, and other random geekiness. You want to drink good whiskey together or go on adventures.

Please don't message me if: you're racist, sexist, homophobic, don't understand why AllLivesMatter is problematic, think feminism is a dirty word, want Trump in office.
