My self-summary Propose an edit

I'm a funny and clever guy [citation needed].

I'm one of those people who has an excellent vocabulary locked away inside his brain. However, that vocabulary sadly has the misfortune of frequently attempting to leave my brain through my mouth. You see, I grew up in a tiny, rural town. As a result, I gained the large majority of my vocabulary through reading. Therefore, I know many words that I don't have the slightest clue how to pronounce - not that this problem stops me from trying. It just means that you get to laugh when I mispronounce "vociferously".

I'm fond of anything with a good story: movies, certain TV shows, books, comics, video games, etc. I enjoy writing as well. I grew up in the country but have grown fonder of the city as I've grown older. I have some pressure from my family to move back to my old small town. It's a prospect that I find both interesting and dreadful.

I have very good friends and all of them live elsewhere. I moved to Macon for a new job only to discover that I knew nobody in the area. I spent the first few months here leaving on the weekends to visit my friends but I finally started to meet people here. Now, I'm pretty happy, but I find the dating scene to be deplorable. I guess that's why I'm at OKCupid.

Books: The Engines of God, A Game of Thrones, Perdido Street Station, The Stars My Destination, Alas, Babylon, anything by Phillip K. Dick, Harry Potter, Science Fiction, Fantasy, etc.

Movies: Run Lola Run, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Baseketball, Labyrinth, V for Vendetta, Mystery Men, Wet Hot American Summer, Love Actually, Princess Bride, Pirates of the Caribbean, movies about zombies, many others.

Music: Wolf Parade, Bender, Ookla the Mok, Reel Big Fish, Barenaked Ladies, The Aquabats, Freezepop, Voxtrot, Postal Service, I'm totally addicted to mid-to-late 90s bands, tons of other stuff. The Lithium channel on Sirius Radio is my go-to road music.

Foods: Ever read "Stuff white people like"? Yeah, I hate to admit it, but I fit the stereotype. I love sushi, Chinese food, expensive sandwiches, Mexican, etc. Haha. But, hey, that stuff's good, so deal with it, buddy.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

Probably something different than I was thinking 30 seconds ago. My mind tends to race. According to some so-called experts, this is called "ADHD". I call it an active imagination.

I also spend a bit of time contemplating how much I've changed over the past two or three years, both physically and mentally.

Also, I spend a lot of time thinking about you. Who are you? Why are you looking at my page? Are you going to message me?

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Again, that really depends. I enjoy a wide range of weekend activities. If I were dating someone, I'd be happy if we were out at a bar or club or if we were at home watching a movie. Usually whom I am with is more important than what we are doing.

Right now I'm often downtown, places such as the Red Eye, Tic-Toc, etc.
