What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as a researcher - my job is to try an put numbers in a format that people will easily understand and interact with. Lots of awesome stuff to learn but occasionally stressful when I think it is taking me too long to learn it!

Outside of that I'm trying to learn new things, do some serious relaxing (perhaps with a book or a walk), entertaining friends, playing games, planning dinner menus (what does wasabi mash go with?) and learning to swim. Breast stroke kick - you are the bane of my life!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Procrastinating
- Making vegan sticky date pudding
- Reading/watching a book or tv show for hours on end (I really want to know what's going to happen!)
- Laughing at my own jokes
- Being ticklish

A sampler...

Music: Leonard Cohen, Monsieur Camembert, Marian Call, Jonathan Coulton, Gogol Bordello, The Turbans... and many more!

Authors: Terry Pratchett, Jim Butcher, Isobelle Carmody, Robin Hobb, Jim Hines, Neil Gaiman, Garth Nix, Juliet Marillier, L'Engle and pretty much any re-telling of fairytales... and many more!

Movies: pretty much anything by Studio Ghibli, Amelie, The Avengers, Iron Man, Kill Bill, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Pan's Labyrinth, Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, Big Fish... and many more!

TV shows: pretty much anything by Joss Whedon (although Angel was less awesome than his other stuff), Sherlock, Black Books, Doctor Who, Torchwood, QI, Orphan Black, various anime series whose names I can't remember at the moment...

Games: snes rpgs like Earthbound, Mother, Chronotrigger, The Sims (and variants), Pokemon. I would be a huge fan of more recent rpgs like Skyrim, but I don't have the co-ordination to deal with a 3D game world :(

Food: most desserts (although not a huge fan of pastry), cheese (in almost all its formats), olives, lemon thyme, tea, dumplings (drowning in dumpling sauce!).... and more!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The internet (this covers blogs, podcasts, fanfic, comics, social media and email access!)
A computer
Entertainment (covers books, movies, tv shows, music)
A sanitation system (<3 flushing toilets)
Whatever my current favourite food is (iced coffees at the moment!)
A comfy bed... I love my bed.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Exhausted and hopefully in bed by 10:30! Sleeeeeeeppppp......
