My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I don't really care about sports, unless I've got money riding on the games aka I play fantasy football. Thanks to Formula 1 having races in just about every time zone the world has, I'm usually watching a DVR'd race when the NFL is on. I love driving, even though this entire area is pretty much terrible for having fun while doing so. Jeopardy is one of my favorite shows, as long as I make it home in time from work to catch it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After thinking law school was the way to go, I ended up doing some intense database work for a huge non-profit and I'm now working for a major university. I really love working with people who know what the hell they are doing instead of just people who share a common ideology. I'm thinking about getting a masters degree in something like data analytics because it would be great for my career, despite the lame history degree.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Trivia, naming song title AND artist after two or three seconds, especially mid-verse/chorus as long as it is from the mid-late 90s. I watch jeopardy and usually do really well as long as the categories aren't about literature or writing/novels.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm fat, I'm kind of condescending if I think you are stupid, I know a lot of obscure facts about cars, and I can easily go on tangents about the strangest facts without warning. If anything, it helps diffuse the tension in awkward moments when you can just start talking about something like the brand of tv in the bar or something else uniquely nerdy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
The Catcher in the Rye, The Rule of Four, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, Breaking Bad, and lately I'm fucking loving the Machine Head cover of Hallowed Be Thy Name. In general, my musical tastes are all over the place. I can love a rap song just because the beat itself is catchy to me, or I can love a metal song just for the sheer brutality of the guitars. I would have to say the most listened to stations in my car are either Alt Nation, BPM, Liquid Metal and Lithium.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The internet, computers, music, a car, Peruvian style chicken and the green sauce it comes with, a really good beer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How much I wish I was better at calculus. I always wanted to be an engineer but never took it before college and had to promptly reconsider what I was going to do with my life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Relaxing with a drink catching up on TV shows I have on my DVR or watching the latest movie from Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If a song has a great hook or great beat I will pay money to listen to it, despite how actually awful the song might be. *callmemaybe*
