My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like humans*. They are messy, and complicated, and real. They are self-serving, have hidden motives, and are transient. They are not valiant, or selfless, or any of a dozen other ideals, because they are the product of several million years of evolutionary competition, and as machines they are built to survive and spread genes. I think this is all brilliant, and that a lot of hassle can be avoided by just accepting these facts, and living with them in mind.

*I include myself in this!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm reading for a Physics degree, as well as training in massage. I'm also doing a drawing course (of which I am loving every minute), trying to improve my German, and learning Spanish from scratch.

I also love exploring and meeting people, so I can often be found doing these things. If you are on one of the bus routes I frequent there is a non-negligible chance I may have already spoken to you.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening, talking, keeping secrets; muscle memory; not remembering faces or names; hiding chocolate bars in the bags of those who appreciate that sort of thing when said people are not looking; making breakfasts; getting really into something and then forgetting entirely about it within a few weeks; whistling.

Oh, and partying.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have never asked anyone, but some people do comment on my (all-natural) white eyelashes. I get alternately "that's really weird" and "that's really cool!" I prefer the latter, but I won't hold it against you too much if your response is the former.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favourite book is easy, that's In Watermelon Sugar, by Richard Brautigan. Film is also easy, that would be The Fall by Tarsem.

Music is harder. I'm currently listening to Burst Generator courtesy of The Chemical Brothers via their 2007 album We Are The Night. Other artists I enjoy listening to include, but are not limited to:

Mike Oldfield; Philip Glass; Billie the Vision and the Dancers; Men, Women, and Children; Coheed and Cambria; Ott; Shpongle; PJ Harvey; Nine Inch Nails; Sneaker Pimps; Electric Six; Florence and the Machine; Soha; Jurassic 5; Wham!; Venetian Snares; Trace Adkins; The Dandy Warhols; The Cat Empire; Valley of Walls; Iron Maiden; A Perfect Circle; King Crimson; Sonata Arctica; Kate Bush; Lacuna Coil; Celldweller; Franz Ferdinand; Garbage; Ravi Shankar; Placebo; Heaven 17.

Food-wise: I am not a picky eater. I do, however, enjoy cooking. For Christmas I got Heston Blumenthal at Home, so the plan for the next few months is to work my way through his less gadget-requiring recipes.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends are the most important part of my life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Currently reading 'Ethics: Inventing Right and Wrong' by Mackie, so got that on the mind. Also trying to work out the most suave way to hide a pair of filled glasses of wine in a jacket for the purpose of surprise romance.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There's a reference failure with 'typical Friday night.' I suppose the usual answers apply though, even if no one answer has a majority share of my Fridays. These would be: out doing something social; sitting in the flat being social; or sitting in the flat, alone, crying into a glass that by this point is mainly filled with tears.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is not something I am willing to admit on the internet!

I am a very open person, and will happily share the details of most of my life (except where it intersects with others, and their privacy is at stake), but I prefer to do this in person.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
... you want to take me out on a hot date! I quite like those (that is why I'm here), and I love spontaneity. Or if you just want to get coffee (this could also count as a hot date).

... you have a perfectly healthy obsession with the colour purple.

... you feel compelled to.

... you want to share knowledge of a good karate dojo in London with me, such that I can begin training again (it has been about six years since I last did karate, but I do miss it).

... you have a burning question about Physics, I guess?

... from a young age, you knew you were special, knew you were destined for great things. There was a prophecy made at your birth, "beware the one known as Gemütle, for in this human lies a great darkness." Everything you have been taught is a lie, designed to keep you from your fate/the inevitable evolution of the universe according to the immutable physical laws/whatever the stochastic processes roll up, and only I can show you the truth.

... you're bored, and either realise how incongruous this is with living in one of the busiest cities in the world, or accept it as ennui.
