My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a down-to-earth, caring man who is looking for a partner with a sense of humor, and an appreciation for the simple things in life. l am fun-loving, quick-witted, smart, yet grounded, empathetic, and real. I am independent and can take care of myself, but I know how wonderful it is to have that special someone.

I am passionate about my work. Keeping fit is important to me; I love to run so several times a week, and I eat healthily but I am not obsessive about it. I have an insatiable curiosity, a willingness to learn and a powerful sense of observation, and I enjoy trying new things - adventures, travels, and new foods. I believe passion, intimacy and humor enrich life. A physical and emotional connection is imperative.

I am looking for a partner to share my life with - our ups and downs, sorrows and joys. Honesty and open communication are important to me. I'm attracted to people who have a strong sense of self and are compassionate to the needs of others, as well as someone who is bright, and fun to be around. It's also important that my partner share in an ability to create a mutually supportive relationship.

I am hoping to find someone who is warn, a good listener and conversationalist, someone who enjoys being active in the warm weather, but who also enjoys snuggling on cold Sunday mornings, reading the paper, and easing into the day... Though I don’t have kids of my own, I welcome another person’s. My nieces and nephews are an important part of my life.

If some of what I've written matches you, don’t hesitate to send me a note. I’m looking forward to meeting and finding out about you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Learning. Both at work, at home and out in the world. At work, I’m stepping back to, well maybe step up. I’ve had a very successful career being at the forefront of a number of important projects, and managing a number of them. Now, I’ve stepped back from management to work at a new place. I enjoy both management and technical, my heart’s in working with people as a benevolent manager to get them to be their best and enjoy ourselves (most of the time!) in the process. Out of work I’m always learning. Not book learning, though I learn from them, but I’ve always been improving myself (outside of the mainstream of “self-improvement.”). I enjoy creatively learning about all things, be it politics, history, New England, but especially people.
