My Notes edit

My self-summary

I'm happy to say that I've graduated from Oakland University with a B.A. in Theatre Performance. I'd like to eventually make a career out of acting in and directing plays and films but in the mean time, I work for General Motors. I spend most of my free time working out, hanging out with my friends, and playing guitar. I learned how to snowboard in the Austrian Alps and loved it but Michigan doesn't really offer any good hills.
I took 3 years off of college after my first year because I joined the Army for 3 years. I ended up stationed in Germany and went to Iraq for a year. Germany was a lot of fun. I went to Oktoberfest twice and had a blast in the giant beer tents. While I was in Europe, I visited a lot of different places; Paris, Amsterdam, Vicenza, The Canary Islands, Nuremburg. But my absolute favorite was Innsbruck, Austria, where I learned how to snowboard. It's a very friendly, beautiful, and blissful city in the heart of the Alps mountains.
Iraq, on the other hand, was not as much fun. I was there during the invasion. We got to Kuwait in January of 2003, the war started in March, we made our way up to Baghdad in about a month and stayed there until January of 2004. I'm happy to be out now, but the experience I've gained from all of it is priceless.
Lately I've been wanting to learn how to play lead guitar. I have the basics down and can play almost any song on rhythm guitar, but I want to start getting more creative with it. I've also been following politics pretty closely and enjoy a friendly debate on the issues. If you want to know more, ask away!
I'm looking for a girl to go out and have fun with. Someone who likes to sing, dance, watch movies together in the theater and at home, playing an instrument is always a plus and if you play guitar it's a HUGE plus! I mainly want to date but if the right girl comes along, I'd be open for something more serious.

What I'm doing with my life

I currently work at General Motors but with everything being so unstable, I've been more focused on making a career out of government work. My plan is to use my military background to get into the Department of Homeland Security. I'd still act and direct whenever I could, but I'd like a more solid sense of financial security.

I'm really good at

Entertaining people! I love to be the one at the bar/resturant/work telling jokes and doing impressions. I'm also good at solving problems. Other than that I would say... learning to play lead guitar. I'm not really good yet but I'm learning fast.

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me

The giant bulge in the front of my pants... I need a smaller cell phone. ;)

I've gotten; my smile, my slim build, my eyes. I was complimented on how nice and straight my teeth were once. So I have that going for me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: I don't read for fun very often. The last thing I read for fun was about rock guitar legends and how they influenced the culture of Rock 'n' Roll.

Movies: Pulp Fiction, Full Metal Jacket, Knocked Up, Superbad, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, American Psycho, Saving Private Ryan, Zoolander, Old School, Big Trouble in Little China, and The Princess Bride.

Music: Rock 'n' Roll! Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper, Tom Petty, Judas Priest, The White Stripes, Queens of the Stone Age, Ted Nugent, Rush, Ozzy Osbourne, Journey, Foreigner, etc.

Foods: Mexican, Italian, Tex-Mex, I try to eat healthy in whichever category.

The six things I could never do without

Rock 'n' Roll, friends, my job, coffee, my Christopher Walken impression, and my guitar.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Really? My friends. Being optomistic about my future. Music. Film. Art in general. Politics.

On a typical Friday night I am

I've been hanging out with friends a lot lately.

The most private thing I'm willing to admit here

I used to like rap.

You should message me if

If you're tired of guys who; will cheat on you, disrespect you, treat you poorly, do not stand up for themselves, are broke, are socially awkward, can't hold their own, are dumb, aren't gentlemen, are cocky or arrogant, and don't know how to treat a woman, then you should message me. But if you happen to like any of those characteristics, I might not be the man for you.
