I am not your average girl. How is THAT for an opener. I find it silly that anyone would admit to being average. Especially when looking for a date.

So, here are some fun facts, in bullet point format for your short-attention span's convienience.

- I collect records but I am not an audiophile. Or a music snob.
- Fantasia (film) had a profound effect on how I perceive music.
- My BA is in English.
- I am currently working on multiple novels.
- I LOVE Bollywood movies.
- I like Fantasy and Mythology. Yeah, I am a nerd. But you will ALL work for me one day.
- I want a squirrel to sit on my shoulder.
- I am a morning person.
- I love sunny, cool breezy days.
- I like to go outside during thunderstorms.
- I only speak if I have something to say.
- I have a thing for blue shoes. I just love them.
- I'd really like to go to Japan. And Iceland. And Mexico. And Thailand, Hong Kong, Trinidad, Egypt, India, Russia, Sweden, and Guam if I have the time.
- I'm not clingy or rude.
- I will always try to include everyone around me in a conversation.

Ultimately, my intention of joining this site is to date. However, I am totally open to meeting new friends as well, I mean really; who doesn't want new friends?

Currently working toward my paralegal certificate at Oakland U, so I can support my record collecting habit and travel and write. In the meantime doing part -time work to help get through my classes.

Most of my favorite books are fantasy/magical realism. I like Tolkien, Edgar Allen Poe, Angela Carter, etc.

I like comedy, fantasy, sci-fi, and musical films. One of my favorite movies is The Birdcage.

My favorite foods are sweets. Moose Tracks ice cream is my all time favorite. I love chocolate and baklava and croissants.
