My self-summary

I'm an ambivert. I don't like doing things where a lot of people are milling about without doing much of anything, but I enjoy directed events. I will never remember anyone's name, unfortunately.

I'm Lawful Good to a fault. I don't break alliances in Risk, I don't cheat in poker, and if no one wants to be the leader or president or whatever, you can bet I'll be the one put in charge.

A lot of my favorite things are solitary in nature, but I tend to enjoy any sort of competition, so if you've got something in mind, fire away.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Starting my first adult job LIKE A BOSS. That joke is old.

I've been doing some writing practice on the side and have ended up with a small following. I try not to keep them waiting too long, even though half the comments are always about how much they hate Beatrice. I'm more concerned about those who really like her.

I buy niche games when they're on sale and never play them.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Discussing philosophical bullshit. Making my opinions sound authoritative without really having any idea. Pissing off both sides in a debate. Being a devil's advocate's advocate. Rambling.

I'm really bad at
Karaoke. Yo-yo-ing. Parking.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Depending on the circumstances of meeting, I either don't want to be there and am not saying anything or I'm being too loud and dominating the conversation.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Google - They are benevolent overlords.
Space - There needs to be another retro sci-fi game, like the original Mass Effect but not awful.
Computers - I write, draw, and work on them.
Jams - Everyone loves music, but specifically, they raise my productivity by quite a bit.
Thunderstorms - Great for clearing the head and the air.
Internet - How else would I harass complete strangers about issues that have nothing to do with me?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What do I want to do tonight? Do I feel like playing Space Marine? Do I have the time to sit down and rewatch Madoka? Actually, I should probably go back and pick out transhumanist passages to reference in my game writing. How long have I been sitting here asking myself this? Did I do the laundry? When am I going to remember to take out the trash? How long has that Sunny D been sitting there? Does my room still smell like popcorn? How long have I been sitting here asking myself this? ....
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm not going to bullshit and say that I enjoy quiet nights inside, because it's more that I don't have any other options. Back home for now, and I don't really keep up with my old high school group.

If a band I listen to ever came to town, I'd probably go to a bunch of concerts, but most of them are European, so that's not really an option. I did go to the Protomen Act I LP release concert and wrestled a drumstick from some guy in a puddle of booze, so there's that, I guess.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I read SO MUCH shoujo manga.

You have something interesting to discuss. Any topic is fine if it keeps me from retreading the same topics with the same people again and again like I spend most days.
