I am Kind, Charming, and very cuddly.

My Self-Summary

I've rewritten this section too many times.

I'm currently madly in love with emyrene.

I've been a nerd all my life and show no signs of changing. I'm flattered by the label and tend to gravitate towards those who share it. To me, being a nerd means going to strange conventions where people dress up, watching cartoons even though you're a grown up, playing card games that involving "attacking" and "dealing damage", being excited when you roll a natural 20 and owning awesome looking metal weapons that to you never intend to use, among other things.

But I am also, as far as I can tell, a kind person. I care for my fellow man and believe in equal opportunities for all. Whether that be regarding education, employment or marriage. Good, honest, hard working people deserve the right to live their lives the way they choose. And it is not up to myself or anyone else to dictate that.

I care for my friends deeply. I have a deep love for many of them even if they don't know it. I would, at the drop of a hat, do whatever I could to help my closest friends should they need me.

I'm an honest person. And I've found that I'm often honest even when it means it won't turn out well for me. I haven't always been honest. In my youth I attempted to become good at lying. I can't recall whether I succeeded or not, but I rarely ever find a need to lie anymore. The truth brings me to the places I should be, not necessarily where I want to be. And that's okay.

I am not very outspoken. I have my stances and my beliefs, don't doubt that. But I don't take the opportunity to impose my opinions on others. When people feel the need to share what they believe, I often am more inquisitive than I am eager to share my side. I would rather know why and how they think the way they do than tell them what I think.

There are a few things that fascinate me more and more as time goes on. Renewable energy sources, human sexuality, world cultures and the human psyche to name a few. These are things I relish the opportunity to speak of at great length. Pick one and lets have a fascinating conversation. :)

I despise technology, bigots, complainers, alarm clocks, vacant expressions, cockiness, disrespectful people, drama and "reality" shows. Among other things.

I adore technology, love, chocolate, meeting new and interesting people, charitable folk, the selfless, hugs, swords and my imagination. Also an ongoing list.

What I’m doing with my life

Currently I'm working the job of my nightmares in retail. But after meeting emyrene I've decided to make a change for the better and go back to school so I can teach our future generations valuable lessons. Lessons like "Don't be a dick" and "Poor spelling and punctuation IS NOT making you cooler".

I recently moved here from California and am attempting to make new friends while finding my place in this hot, dry semi-utopia.

I’m really good at

Driving a manual transmission one handed, cuddling, enjoying pain, picking out the right clothes, dungeons & dragons, killing zombies, fortifying, Guitar Hero, articulating, making a good impression, completely dominating Star Wars Trivial Pursuit(Original Trilogy), Cunnilingus, Aperture Science, inquiring, sincerity, impressing your parents

The first things people usually notice about me

That I'm well mannered and a snappy dresser? Well, maybe they just notice how short I am.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

This list could be longer...

Books: The Princess Bride, The Zombie Survival Guide, Champions of Kamigawa, Maxim, Harry Potter, The Watchmen, Works by David Sedaris and Dan Savage, World War Z

Movies: 300, Shaun of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, 'Definitely, Maybe', Samurai X, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter 1 and 2, Aliens, The Incredibles, Amélie, Kung Fu Panda, Iron Man, 28 Days Later, 50 First Dates, Moulin Rouge, Stardust, Spider-Man, Hot Fuzz, 90% of everything Pixar does, films by Ed Wood

Music: Lets look at my itunes...
The Eagles, Journey, Metallica, Nirvana, Marilyn Manson, Boston, Ozzy Osbourne, Queen, Wolfmother, Guns N' Roses, Justin Timberlake, Disturbed, Daft Punk, Johnny Cash, ZZ Top.

And lately 'Pandora' radio has been broadening my horizons. Artists like Lemmy Kravitz, Elton John, Maroon 5, Black Eyed Peas, Bond and even Rihanna(gasp!) sound good to me.

I'm in love with the sound of the violin. The right composition can bring me to tears.

Food: Sushi, Oysters on the half shell, Menudo, Corned Beef, Chocolate!

The six things I could never do without

These are things besides the givins such as food, water, air, family and friends. Those should be on any list...

-Love
-Internet
-Women
-My Wild Imagination
-Hope
-Cell phone (iphone!)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

-Love
-Having children
-Zombie-proofing my house
-Beauty
-My job
-Zombie-proofing my apartment complex
-Why I hate Hollywood so much lately
-The difference between "having sex" and "making love"
-my future

On a typical Friday night I am

Hopefully out hitting the town with friends.

That or wondering why I haven't gone out. Playing video games such as World of Warcraft(not so much anymore), Resident Evil, Rock Band and Left 4 Dead.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have had a burning desire to go to events where it would be appropriate to wear a top hat. Also, I really want a top hat.

I have a weakness for girls with freckles, fishnet stalkings and/or big rim glasses. If you possess all three, you are my kryponite. Although I resent the use of the word kryptonite because I hate Superman.

You should message me if

-You want to make a new friend. Whether you be a man or woman. Gay, straight or bi.
-You want to go on a double date
-You want to play some games. Board games or even things like Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, that sort of thing. My inner nerd has been going through some withdrawals since I moved. Seriously, guy or girl. Just play games with me!
