What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently attending college with the intention of earning a
degree in Geography. I'm also employed at the local movie theatre.
I’m really good at
I remember a lot of weird trivia. I'm also really good at baking,
something that I really love to do. I like to come up with silly
ways of remembering things (names, dates, songs).
The first things people usually notice about me
My glasses, now. They used to notice my curly hair, but I suppose
my specs are much more attention-grabbing.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: I'll read pretty much anything. I love scifi, horror and fantasy, so my top choices are usually
something by Michael Crichton or Stephen King. I refuse
to read anything by Stephenie Meyer; her 'writing' is a disgrace to
literature.
Movies: Much like my taste in books, I'll watch just about any genre of film. Working at a movie theatre has given me plenty of opportunities to see what's currently available. I enjoy horror and action movies the most, but I'll watch a romance or a kids' movie once in a while, too.
My favorite movie of all time is Back To The Future; that is one movie I will never tire of, no matter how many times I've seen it.
Music: Anything except for rap. And most country. I'm a big fan of classic rock and 80's hair metal.
Food: I love cooking and baking. I'm always on the prowl for new recipes or twists to try out. In terms of what I like to eat, I prefer Italian or anything that's rustic. Chinese and Mexican rank very highly, and I really like sushi. There are very few foods I'll flat out refuse to eat (mushrooms, sauerkraut).
