I am Smart, Caring, and talented.

My Self-Summary

All right, here it goes. This is my first post on a dating site. I'm one of those rare guys, who has a bit of a fear of approaching people. I am a college student at CSU East Bay majoring in Criminal Justice. While not in my campus dorm, I live in Alameda. I am musically inclined and I listen to a wide range of music. I don't drive, just to be upfront about things. Feel free to ask me anything you want to, and I will answer it. I write poetry occasionally. I love Plays, and Musicals, and enjoy faking my way through singing the songs, while I play them on the Piano. If I visit your profile a couple times, and don't message you, it's probably due to the fact I am overly shy about initiating contact. But once contact is established, we should be able to talk smoothly and freely.

What I’m doing with my life

Going to college, Majoring in Criminal Justice.

I’m really good at

Music. More Private things. I'll tell you what if you ask.

The first things people usually notice about me

I don't know. I don't really get comments about my looks. Now and then I will get girls looking at me, but since I don't stop and talk, I don't know if its a good thing or if I just have something on my face. <-- Joke. People tend to take me too seriously. I tend to make jokes with a straight face, and people react by reassuring me rather than laughing.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I am in to almost all types of music, just not rap. I listen to everything from J.S. Bach, to Skid Row, the old skid Row with Sebastian Bach. See what I did there? Lame joke, sorry. I also love musicals, my favorites being the Busby Berkely ones, specifically 42nd street, and dames. other favorites include Sweeney Todd. Jekyll and Hyde, West Side Story, How to succeed in business without really trying, and I have developed a fondness, not madness, for The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Movies I like include: Boondock Saints, Platoon, Sin City, Battleship Potempkin,My favorite bands include Judas Priest, The Cult, Theory of a deadman, rob zombie, The Doors, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. I truly believe that Swing is the best music ever invented. I like a plethora of music as you can see. If you wonder if I like someone, give me a message and I'll tell you. If I haven't heard them yet, I'll youtube them, then tell you if I like them or not.

And I love movies. My favorites probably are anything from the 30s to the 60s. I like new movies too, but there will never be another Dick Powell, and Joan Blondel/Ruby Keeler, Or Burns and Allen. but I love new movies too. Boondock saints, natural born killers, platoon, talk radio, Battle Royale 1, all the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. (I even listen to the soundtracks alot, silly as that may seem) and the overly filthy Caligula. quite a wide range. there isn't much I won't watch. And yes that means I will watch "chick flicks" with you if you so desire.

My favorite TV show by far is Homicide Life on the Street. I don't watch much TV, since I don't get it at college, but I am very open to watching most any show. A friend got me into Grey's anatomy last year. And Firefly. Damn Fox.

As for books, my favorites right now are the Night Watch series. Other favorites include A Confederacy of Dunces, and anything R.L. Stevenson.

The six things I could never do without

Music, Love, Intellectual Conversation, Family, Healthy Debate, Sex

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Exactly How Humor exists. Figuring out that Psychological Horror movie I just saw.

On a typical Friday night I am

in my dorm room, doing random things. Watching a movie. Writing a Story. being bored.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Apart from my love of musicals and fear of asking people out I already mentioned, I guess it would be my fear of dogs (I'm working on that one) and my fear of Roller Coaster (not even going to try.) Oh, and I've been cheated on.

You should message me if

you understood my bad joke, or would like to, at the very least, start up an conversation. I am available to talk quite a bit, and like to.
