I can more often than not be found with a smile on my face. Simply

My friends would describe me as being a great listener and caring almost to a fault. I am very generous and giving of my time and will do anything to help the people I care about. I like to think I'm funny and I appreciate a great sense of humor. I can laugh at myself and am looking for someone who can do the same...laugh at me and themselves ;)
I enjoy going out with friends but am just as happy staying at home watching a movie. I love hanging out with my dogs either hiking or going on long walks by the water with them. Love the beach! Love to see bands play and do so as often as possible. My current favorites are Florence and the Machine, the killers, Silversun pickups, Foo Fighters and Social Distortion...I love alternative music but will listen to pretty much anything.
I am very low maintenance, easy going and I am able to "go with the flow". Really-Im not going to switch into Diva mode after a few dates. I have a very happy and fulfilling life with many close friends and a great family. I love what I do for a living...meeting someone great would simply be the cherry on top.
I am a HUGE animal lover. I work with animals and being around them makes me happy! I am very social and am able to hold conversations with all types of people. I love meeting new people and am very outgoing. You won't have to "babysit" me at a party or gathering.
I love running and do so 4-5 times per week along the Hudson River. I recently started crossfit after 2 years of hearing how awesome it is...and it is!!
As far as what im looking for...Being a good, kind, caring person is what impresses me. Being thoughtful matters to me... Honesty is also a must. Im a very nurturing and compassionate person and would love to find someone with similar qualities. I dont have a specific type but I am most attracted to someone who can make me laugh.
I am actively looking for a relationship with the right person. I'm not interested in dating just for the sake of "dating". Relationships take time to build so I am not looking to rush into anything however if your desired result is not to eventually enter into a long term relationship or you are newly separated then I'm probably not the right person for you :)
I have 2 funny and well behaved kids ages 10 (girl) and 13 (boy). Although my children are my priority I think it is very important to devote plenty time to a relationship. I am not only defined by being their mother. I am my own person as well. They are getting to the age where they dont require as much of my attention...
Most of my photos were taken in the last 2 months. The oldest one is a year and a half old. I update frequently because if we meet you will obviously see what I look like and you deserve an accurate representation :)
