I am alternative, brainy, and communicative.
My Self-Summary
I'm a walkin', talkin' contradiction in terms. I'm an outgoing
introvert or a shy extrovert. I love
outdoors and
nature and I love
city life. I'm a lover of
writing and
music and
ideas and
people. I love
sublety and
sarcasm and
self-definition. I love
anything which is new or different or alternative or breaks from
"tradition", however you define it. I love
architecture and
design and
engineering and
art. I like
politics and
philosophy and
current affairs and
history. I love
travel and
communicating and
seeing the world.
I'm trying to get into being less of a consumer of life and more of
a creator whether that be through creating
photography or
video or writing or
the eternal
learning process or whatever shape it takes that I can't define
just yet.
For those of you who believe in such things, Keirsey / Myers-Briggs
says I am an INTJ.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I work full-time and I am taking classes part-time.
Mostly business classes right now. I am toying with the idea of
doing an MBA at night or on the weekend. If I do that, though, I am
trying to find a program that would closely match my values, not
focused on corporate business but more focused on
sustainable
business,
alternative business
concepts, or even mixed with
international business.
I’m really good at
listening, intelligent conversation, thinking, knowing lots of
minutiae and trivia, being a friend, being easy-going, scheduling
and/or being on-time
The first things people usually notice about me
a big smile, my eyes (intense), a quick, sarcastic wit ... Also I
often hear how people feel calm or comfortable around me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
(A) Books: Leather Daddy and the Femme; Guns, Germs and Steel;
Collapse; Paul Krugman; Michael Pollan; many other books; I read
many magazines, too. (B)Movies: generally, alt movies, "art house"
movies, international films, Almodovar, Monty Python, "Secretary",
"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", "Being John Malkovich",
"French Twist", "Casablanca"; (c) Music: alt rock, punk rock,
trippy, dippy, trancey music, jam bands, international music; (d)
Foods: yes
The six things I could never do without
Food, Water, Air, Sunlight, Friends, Lovers, My Brain, My Senses.
Oh, wait! That's more than six.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
politics, the state of the world,
traveling, my future plans, friends,
relationships,
polyamory, sex
On a typical Friday night I am
going out to a show, to a movie, socializing with friends, eating
at a restaurant
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Not much about me is all that private. Just ask. I'll tell you if I
won't give you a straight answer or don't want to talk about it.
I'm sometimes radically or painfully honest.
You should message me if
You think we'd be interesting to each other, in any way from
discourse to intercourse, even if the stats or the tests don't.
