My self-summary
I've been working on a demonstrative agroforestry project in Nicaragua. I teach people how to identify fruit trees, plant nitrogen fixers with their annual crops, and generally just love mulch.

I was in NY for a while doing the whole art thing and working as a courier. I've developed horticulture projects with small scale coffee farmers, done translations, taught english and music. I like to travel but don't believe in traveling just for the sake of it. I like to be in a place and get to know people. Lately I want to get to know people back in the USA.

Food is important. (Not just delicious) I believe that by changing the way we farm and interact with what we eat, we can change the world. I call this the 'kick the legs out from under the beast' revolutionary tactic.

I'm won't preach. I'm a reluctant radical.

I have many passions. I studied painting. I write and take it seriously. I read a lot and don't take it seriously at all.

I can light a fire from what I find on the ground with one match in a thunderstorm, and I don't expect you to care. (But I can't use an iPhone to save my life.)

Nothing feels more right to me than being in a forest.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm looking into agricultural projects back in the North East. Who knows what I'll find. I'm building the skills necessary to start my own farm within the next few years.

I write as much as I can get away with. I don't want my art to become my job, but I want my job to leave plenty of time for my art.

I'm an experience junkie. I live for stories.
