Despite my user name I am not "ghetto." That is a nickname that has stuck for over ten years at this point, and as such it is my default name when I sign up for things. OK, since that is out of the way. I am a pretty average guy, who lives in Brooklyn with his black cat. I work in a couple of dive bars. When I'm not working, I like to read, watch movies, and go out for drinks with friends. Pretty much the usual. I play video games, but the frequency seems to be dropping. I'm not sure if I'm growing up finally, or if maybe nothing good has come out in a few months.

I went to school for Drama Studies, and though I took a bit of time off from acting and writing,(I had to pay rent apparently) I am trying to get back into the swing of things.

Being silly. I like to joke around and have fun all the time. I have been told this is not a great quality. It tends to lead to me having a little trouble actually being serious when I need to be. But c'mon...who wants to be serious?

I have no idea what people notice about me. How about you let me know and I'll eventually add it to this box.

Well according to several people, my eyes are the first thing people notice. Apparently they are quite nice.

I read pretty much every night. Douglas Adams is a favorite, as are Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, J.K. Rowling, David Ives, Tom Stoppard, Richard Matheson, and many more I'm sure. If it is comedic, horrific, cyber-punk, steam-punk, fantasy, science fiction, or something along those lines, I will probably read it.

My movie taste lies in a similar direction. Quentin Tarantino and Guillermo del Toro can do no wrong. Hot Fuzz and Sean of the Dead are right at the top of my list. As are many, many other movies. I currently even have movies on my shelves I haven't gotten around to seeing yet.

My music tastes are pretty eclectic. If i just hit play on itunes it would play for almost 42 days. A majority of that is hip-hop and rap, which is where my nickname came from. I was the only one in my 15 year old group of friends who listened to rap. There is also a decent amount of punk, rock, blues, jazz, electronic, and even a tiny bit of country that a friend put on my computer. Some I've never listened to, and considering I'm always finding more music, I doubt I will ever catch up with all of it.

I will eat anything. Except green ice cream. I can't explain that. It has something to do with never having it as a kid. It just seems unnatural to me. I blame Breyers and their white mint chocolate chip. DAMN YOU BREYERS!!! While I will eat just about anything. The top three in no particular order are: buffalo wings, sushi, and bacon.

Really six things......I dunno if I have six. Can I say books as a whole? I like the written word and would be bored without it. Indoor plumbing. I like having showers and toilets in the house. Can you imagine having to lug water from a well or nearby creek? That would not be too much fun. Friends and drinks to share with them. On this completely empty desert island where I'm trapped, I need some people to share cocktails in coconut halves with me.

So four things. Books, Plumbing, Friends, and Drinks to have with those friends. I could probably do without the drinks, but where would the fun be in that.

Ideas for scripts that never get fully realized. Imaginary back-stories for the strange people I see everyday. What is that smell? The answer to The Question of Life, The Universe and Everything.

I am working at my bar until after 4 in the morning every Friday night. It's ok though, I have always preferred to go out on a Sunday or Monday night anyway.

I am probably not stalking you on here. I recently realized that I randomly look at some people's profiles a lot. It is because they show up on my homepage and I don't realize I've looked at it before. On the other hand, if you are super awesome maybe I am stalking you a little bit.
