Hey, I'm a fun lovin, easy goin, outdoors type. I love being active, and engaging in ALL sorts of PHYSICAL activities, take from that what you may. Used to be a lazy inactive smoker back in the days, and I will never understand what I was thinking. I have been told that I am a little crazy, and even been called fearless, but I'd rather try something and have it possibly go bad, than not try it at all. Anything worth doing is worth doing right! I am the kind of person who is good at sizing up people and situations, and I like to approach both logically. I get along with pretty much anybody, and If I don't get along with you, I am probably not the only one who doesn't, just saying!

I received a B.A. In Psychology, but I currently work as an architectural/structural metal worker. I also do carpentry and construction type jobs. I freelance, and manage a good friend's shop, so I can make my own schedule, which is really nice. I am on the waiting lists for both the FDNY and NYPD, and am really looking forward to an opportunity with either. Other than that , I try to stay physically active as much as possible. Any day spent without exertion or sweat is not really a good day! I am always looking for a new interesting hobby, and some sort of way to get my heart rate going, CELERITAS EST VESTRI AMICUS.

Being real, I don't play games, or beat around the bush. I say what I mean, and I will give you an honest opinion, and I call bullshit when I see it. I don't like kiss asses, and won't abide save asses. I'm really good at being a team player, and getting a task done, anybody who knows me, knows they can count on me when shit needs to get taken care of. Outdoors activities, I love to swim, bike, and run, tri-sports. Kayaking, in a few short years, I have become an exceptional paddler, including teaching classes, and leading trips/expeditions. Climbing/rappelling, I am fairly new to climbing, but I love it, and being a smaller and flexible dude, I am pretty nimble. Cooking, back in my lazy days, I didn't cook at all, and ate shitty foods, I love to eat, (and I try to eat healthy) so I am great at cooking. Music, I am a drummer, I would like to be able to play and practice more than I do, but I am no slouch.

I'm easy to get along with. I say what I mean. I'm kind and considerate. I'm polite, and still believe in chivalry. No, I'm not opening the door for you because you're inferior or whatever femiNazis think. I'm doing it, because that's how I was brought up. I give up my seat to the elderly, and say "bless you" to some random stranger who sneezes (minus the whole GOD part). I'm outgoing, and I'll talk to pretty much anybody, too many people keep to themselves while walking around in the world. Life's too short for that shit. That being said, if you are a waste of life who is just gonna be miserable, keep your trap shut, thanx! I am up for pretty much anything, I like to be spontaneous, even though it can get me into trouble from time to time, but those make for some great stories. I have a pretty good sense of humor, and won't avoid any topic. I like stand up comedy, and think pretty much anything can be looked at in a funny light. Oh, and one of the very first things people will notice about me is that I only recently joined the cell phone age. I got my first one in January 2009, had it until July 2010, and got rid of it. I just recently gave in and got a phone on April 25th (yes, 2012). I don't hate technology, I quite like it, but I do hate the way people have degenerated into being reliant and addicted to these contraptions. You'll never see me walking down the street like a friggin' Ostrich, and when I'm hanging out with you, I am hanging out with YOU. I am not talking to a bunch of people who aren't there.

Way too much to go into, but I love to read about the things that interest me. I like Military history, and come from a family with a lot of it! I have read some of the "great books", throughout High school, and College. I really enjoy reading books about people's experiences, athletes, musicians, adventurers, etc. I am that guy who can quote movies with the best of them. My good friends, and co-workers and I can pick up and throw out random obscure quotes, and laugh hysterically about the smallest reference. I don't follow current TV so much, I am a fan of certain shows, but there is just too much out there. I'm good at watching a show after it has been taken off the air (LOST). I do watch a ridiculous amount of National Geographic, Discovery, History, etc. The REAL WORLD (I mean THE PLANET, and our universe) is much more entertaining than "The Real World". Music, I play drums, and am a huge fan of Metal, but appreciate a wide range of music. I love anything from classical (stringed instruments just have a life of their own) to Jazz and Funk, to classic rock. I'll give most things a shot, but I won't do techno, sorry, I need music in my music. That being said, I have heard some of what I refer to as "FUCK ME" music that has some interesting bassy stuff going on. Food, you name it, I'll try it. I love spicy food. I am a fan of how fatty food tastes, but not what it does to your body, I do try to maintain a healthy diet, but I'm not ridiculous about it.

Cycling, running, good music, good food, beautiful days, and beautiful women! KISS THEORY-Keep It Simple Stupid!

Man if only I could put down on paper what I spend a lot of time thinking about??? Okay simple answer: my next meal!!!

Either down to go out and drink and party, or content to stay in, go to sleep early to wake up early for a day of activities. I'm very flexible. Sometimes you gotta go out and get hammered, sometimes you gotta be fresh and sober for a long day of clean living! Dealer's choice.
