My self-summary
((So, this profile is very very out of date, but I really don't feel like updating it right now, so if you want to talk to me, just say hi, really.))

I'm in a very weird place in life that will maybe, possibly, kinda sorta end up in grad school eventually, I hope. For now, I do various things including running a bar, managing the front end of local place, working as a tutor while mostly getting on my own two feet. I write stories and poetry, game, read, and do pretty much any other nerdy activity you can think of.
What I’m doing with my life
I hope to begin to get to a place where grad school is a real possibility, but for now I work at Georgia's Market's new downtown location running the bar and Kaplan Test Prep (where I tutor high schoolers in how to beat the SAT). All the while, I'm searching for a "real" job (whatever that means) and writing when I can.
I’m really good at
I can improvise a meal out of just about any two or three ingredients. (No promises it'll be good, but it'll be there.) I also make a mean cup of coffee.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm kind of a nonchalant asshole, but I'm generally nice about it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a big fan of classic books, though lately I've found Jim Butcher worth the read. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is sure on the top of my favorite books. I also love most fantasy/sci-fi I read. The Road was another great one, as were The Zombie Survival Guide, The Lord of the Rings, Macbeth, and Whitman, Dragonlance, The Jungle, Heart of Darkness, Crime and Punishment, Atonement, Neverwhere, American Gods, Clapton, and The Dark Tower.

Also: Comics: Watchmen, Captain America, X-Men, Deadpool, Fables, Iron Man, Captain Britain, Thor, Avengers.

As for movies, I'll give about anything a watch, though again, I do love my sci-fi, and I grew up on Star Wars. Also, love Dead Poets Society and Good Will Hunting.

Music: I love music: any, all, and everything. Though especially blues and classic rock.

For food, I'm trying to expand my tastes, I do like meat and pasta in nearly any form. I also recently discovered I can make a killer chili. From here, I really do want to find new stuff to like.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Creativity, comics, craft beer. and why I can't ever seem to get that last detail right.
On a typical Friday night I am
At this point: work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've finally, at 23, just now jumped on the Harry Potter train.
