Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up in Italy, in a tiny country town 70 miles from Bologna
and half an hour driving from the Adriatic Sea. I moved to the US
for the first time when I was 22 as an exchange student (first in
SD and then in NY). After I graduated for my Master at the
University of Bologna I came back to SD for my PhD in Structural
Engineering. Even if school is an important part of my life I have
many other interests.
Yoga is one of the most important things in my life, and I don't
mean just the physical side of yoga but also the spiritual part.
They both changed my life!
I love running and I did two half-marathons in the past months.
Plus I recently got into biking and swimming and I just did my
first triathlon (and I cannot wait for the second one!)
I love reading about food, health in general, the brain, learning
and some psychology. I tried to stop but it's my addiction!
I also have a lot of other hobbies (even if I cannot dedicate them
a lot of time). I started a drawings class, I do crocheting and
knitting, and my newest one is modeling polymer clay to make
earrings for my friends. I have tons of ideas so I could add
something different to this list once a week...

Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Now I am trying to focus on finishing my PhD and enjoy what SD has
to offer (since I will probably move somewhere else once I will be
done with my PhD). I still have no clues of what I will be doing in
a couple of years, but I know that I will have the right occasion
at the right time.
