I'd like to travel more. I went to Pennsic (doing medieval re-enactment with the Society for Creative Anachronism) last July and I've booked again for this year!. I'd also like to go to the UK, Europe, NZ.
My home is my retreat from the world and I love feeding my friends, but cooking for one sucks!
When I look in the mirror I see blonde hair going silver, green eyes and even features. I’m relatively unwrinkled, un-tattooed, clear-skinned and an Australian size 12-14. I'm reasonably intelligent & articulate. Not religious or clingy. 100% loyal, faithful and financially independent. I don’t drink or smoke excessively, do drugs or gamble. I’m affectionate, happy, a bit (a lot!) cheeky though I can be a bit reserved until I get to know you. I’m feminine but can still change a tyre (if I have to!), sew my own clothes, deal with large spiders, carry my own shopping, parallel park, ride a horse and mow my own lawn. This might make me sound too independant! I'm not really, but sometimes you just have to get on with it :) I'd like someone to share it all with though, it's boring on your own! Someone to care for and to care about me. Someone to cuddle up with to watch movies on a cold night.

I really enjoy creating/making things; sewing, jewellry, clothing, costumes including corsets :), browsing antique & second hand shops, medieval recreation, markets, learning to garden/renovate my new house. Need a good teacher! Happy to be pillion on a motorbike

70s and 80s music , Queen, celtic, Moody Blues, folk (Steeleye Span) Pink, Beatles, etc. I promise not to sing while anyone is in earshot! Tried to learn the harp, but I was really bad at it :(
Reading: Scifi, fantasy, crime, bios, Elizabethan & Tudor history, supernatural, lots of both fiction and non-fiction. My house is decorated in "Eclectic Bookcase" style Will read cereal packets if nothing else available! No trashy "women's" mags though! Ewww. Papers in bed on weekend mornings definately :)
Movies/TV: Scifi, fantasy, crime, ABC & SBS. History channel, documentaries, british comedies, CSI, Lie to Me, Gruen Transfer, Spicks & Specks. I don't mind a good action movie. Not much into "chick flicks" :) or horror. Love to snuggle on the couch watching movies.
Sport: Sorry, not really interested! Played too much sport in the Army and knees were wrecked :( Negative reinforcement is a powerful learning experience... I'll cheer for the Olympics though. Would like to get on a horse again. Happy to go do my own thing when you absolutely need to watch the game.
Food: Happy to try anything, love seafood. Allergic to capsicum (bell peppers)

All the usual suspects; air, food, water, etc but I'd really miss the company of my friends and books if I was to find myself on a desert island.
