Really fast 'n' speedy so hard to get photos of him :P

Here he is sleeping. It was dark in my room when I took this so the picture isn't very good, but he's scrunched up in a furry ball:

OK that is all.
Then today I've not really done much except play with the hamster and go to Asda with my family. I got a book about Berlin in 1945. It's by Antony Beevor (the same guy who wrote Stalingrad).
I need to stop buying so many books lol
On Monday I'll hopefully be going to the zoo as well. Depends on the weather. I haven't been there for years and it'll be nice to go back and take some pictures. It's been raining a lot tonight so I hope it stops by Monday.
The weather forecast is on BBC1 right now but they're only up to Sunday. No rain in Manchester on Sunday morning though. Good so far... Crap I think that showed rain on Monday morning. I'm not bothered about the rain myself, but my mum is.
I'm gonna read for a bit and go to bed soon. Maybe go for a walk tomorrow. If I can be arsed.
This is where people walk their dogs... I used to play football on this field with my dad:

And here are my legs sat on the dentist chair the other week :P

I'm also going to the museum in the morning, which will be good as I haven't been there for ages. It's just down the road from my university building so I used to go there a lot after lectures. I'm reading Stalingrad by Antony Beevor at the moment btw.
They grow in gel (one of them has green gel, one has red gel and the other has yellow gel) which provides everything they need so there's no need to water them.
I also went for a walk today up to the park. There were some berries growing there so I picked some for my tortoise. He just ate one of them and a yellow flower I brought back for him. I sat in the bowling green for a bit as well then came back home. Two things to record for this week.
At the moment I'm about half way through The great Plague by Stephen Porter. It's short but definitely a good book. I bought one about the Fire of London (1666 - the plague was '65) at the same time too.
Anyway, when I was at the Trafford Centre I saw some boxes of stuff in Waterstones. I ended up spending about forty quid on random stuff. So now I'm going to be practicing Chinese calligraphy lol. I also got an "itty bitty Buddha" and a miniature Zen Garden which is cool.
I put the Buddha on the front window sill in my bedroom when I got back, next to a Chinese model of a turtle. And I put a "wee garden gnome" in Volodja's tortoise table. Volodja is my baby Hermann's tortoise by the way. He lives in my next room (my bedroom is sort of divided into two as it's an extension above the garage). I took him outside today for a walk round the garden, but the weather wasn't right so he was only out for a while. Now he's burried himself in the substrate below his wooden bridge thing and he'll be sleeping there till tomorrow. Which reminds me, I should switch his UV light off before I go to bed. I also need to fill in my logs for my psych.
At least I've been out today. If I get up early tomorrow I might go for a walk up to the park. There's not much to do there and there are always gangs of teenagers hanging around, but I can take some pictures or something and then walk back.
Oh yeah it is really hot here lately too. I was only wearing a shirt before (and pants obviously but I mean no hoodie and no jacket) and I was boiling. I have two fans on in my room now and it's still hot. Maybe I'll play a game or something. I've been playing Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII again this week, so I might play that again for a bit. I should at least get the fuck off here anyway. I spend too much time on here as it is :D
