My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am an artist originally from Dunedin. I moved up to Wellington 4 years ago to study & spend more time weaving. I am a very creative individual & am not easily bored. I like to spend my time learning new skills, laughing at myself, making things, gardening, enjoying my own company, or hanging out with my eclectic bunch of friends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just spent the last two years studying Creative Writing and am at Teachers College this year. This basically means I have very little time for a social life at present, so even though I may have the best of intentions to keep up with replying to messages...realistcally I'm a bit slack at it so please don't hold your breath :) I am also working on illustrating a childrens book I wrote for my six year old niece.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I like... writing, drawing, photography, crochet, weaving (harakeke), sewing, painting, jewellery making, floristry, & occasionally I paint the odd mural.
I also bake a good pie and make a killer omelette. ;)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well it was always--"Wow, you have amazing dreads!"
(I just cut them off a few months ago.)
I also get--"You always smell so nice."
But I think what strikes most people is my smile when I'm grinning like a batty idiot.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Lemon & ginger tea with honey
The people I love in my life
My camera/pen & paper/crochet hook & thread...etc, etc.
Ample amounts of spare time.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
So many different things--I'm a bit of a random tangent.
But also then again, nothing at all.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At present I'm super over worked so I love nothing more than taking off my shoes at the end of a gruelling week, sipping peppermint tea & falling rapidly unconcious.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I love to sleep diagonally in bed.
