My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a down to earth, caring and kind woman. I honor and appreciate authenticity in people, as well as my life. I love children( I have 2, and don't want anymore) and nature, and think it is so important for children-and all of us- to reconnect with the natural world. Camping, hiking, and just sitting on a rock near a stream all make me happy.
I can be serious, thoughtful, philosophical, quirky, and goofy, though not usually at the same time. My children think I am embarrassing, but that is part of the fun of being a parent. Singing and dancing in a grocery store is enough to put them over the edge! Hee!Hee!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently got my massage therapy liscensure, and am interested in all types of body work, energy work, and herbalism.
I recently moved to a wonderful hidden gem of a place in Atlanta, and am getting settled here. My dog and I love to go on morning walks on the trails, then swimming in the lake with my girls in the afternoon.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
listening to what people say, and the things they don't say. I love to cook, and am good at it. I particularly like to cook Indian food. More later..
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My children, my dog, my friends, time in nature, a good, cold beer on a hot day, and books.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
community, and how to create more of it in our society. My children, as well as my parenting, what steps I need to take to create the life I want for myself, and how to remove the mostly self-imposed obstacles to get there. What else I can create-whether it is a meal, a story, peace, art, possibilities, herbal medicines, something knitted, a livelihood, etc....
