What I'm doing with my life
I'm decompressing from my last job while exploring what comes
next.
Currently, that translates to roller-blading, yoga, introspection, and all those little things one doesn't have time for while spending 40+ hours a week at work.
I dabble in a wide range of crafts and hobbies. The biggest project currently is an LED-based Personal Aura Device for Burning Man -- I'm learning to solder as part of that! There are 33 gallons of mead brewing in my den, and a chainmail + computer SIM art piece waiting to be drilled in my office. I built a Maleficent costume for Halloween last year that included EL wire, a black leather corset, and 10 inch horns on the headdress.
I'm a fire and light spinner, also learning fire staff, fire-eating and contact fire. I play with LED's, flags and anything that looks like I might be able to put it on a string and twirl it to fun effect. I frequently wear sparkly clothes and accoutrement to go with my shiny blinky toys. You can call me a magpie, but please don't confuse me with a raver.
