I love to create as much as possible -- dance, paint, sing and even cook up a beautiful risotto or whatever else I'm craving.

I am an open minded, caring, and honest person who doesn't like to be weighed down by drama or games. Humor is a big turn on for me as well as someone who reveals their true nature no matter how flawed, kind of like Louis C. K. I also love to be around people who are passionate about their life and/or work and are intelligent.

Random things that give you a glimpse into my life:

*I been known to sit in with a band to sing a song or two.
*Hear live music and/or go dancing on average 2 times a week.
*Perform belly dance about 1-2 times a month.
*Fell in love with statistics and psychological research, currently a student instructor for this course and am loving it.
*I have gone on many 2 week meditation retreats where I eat vegan, raw food, live in silent solitude and attend yoga, meditation and dance classes.
*I usually come back from retreat craving a cheeseburger and red wine.

Cooking, mixing cocktails, entertaining friends, being adventurous.

Most people say my smile. I usually cause a scene on the dance floor.

I'm a Podcast junkie - WTF w/ M. Marion, RadioLab, RISK!, Shrink Rap Radio, and most NPR shows.

TV Shows - Louis, The Wire, Mad Men, SATC, Futurama, The IT Crowd, Myth Busters, and The Planet Earth Series with David Attenborough.

Music (what is currently on rotation) - BB King, Bonnie Raitt, Radio Citizen, Ingrid Michaelson, Of Montreal, The Heavy, The Magnetic Fields, Nick Drake, Radiohead, Belle & Sebastian, Mofro.

Movies - Amelie, Sin City, Let the Right One in (Swedish), Pineapple Express, Royal Tenebaums, Muholland Dr., Master of the Flying Guillotine, Tale of Two Sisters (Korean) and Inception.

Books - I read a ton of non-fiction. Oliver Sacks, Bill Bryson, and Mary Roach are some of my favorite authors. Completely hooked on Game of Thrones (but who isn't). Trying to read the books before watching the series.
