I’m thinking you’ve likely heard it all and seen it all in dating, right? And sometimes when reality presented itself on the first date, you were sadly disappointed. Okay…angry. So let me give you some peace of mind….and a truthful description of me.
I like to show up to a first date well-dressed, well-mannered, and well-informed about you. Why pull any surprises, right? The way I look at it—we’re both looking for a nice, simple relationship. Okay…fun and fulfilling too.
If we meet over coffee, I know time is limited, so let’s cut to the chase. Things to look for:
1. Is he a hand holder? (Fact: I’m looking for a girlfriend. Someone who naturally brings out my romantic side. In my opinion, the human touch is healing and such a pleasure!)
2. Is he really listening to me? (Fact: I believe really listening to someone talk means I learn more about who they are, their personality, and where they are in life.)
3. Is he interesting? (Fact: I’m self-employed in the online marketing field & I run a martial arts school. My brand is: funny, cool & collected, mindful, leveled, and easy going. And I’m okay with being perfectly imperfect. I like live bands, blues music, movies, meditation, reading, chocolate, massages…and more...
I’d love to be in love with a lady….someone who can hold her own, who keeps me interested and challenged, but who also leans on me for some nice togetherness…and that’s the truth.
