i'm not on okCupid to meet a ton of people or to serial date. I love my life as it is now, but i'm around here to meet one or just a few cool people.
i'm artistic, intelligent, and i like people who are cool enough to be able to be themselves no matter what other people think. i have a healthy problem with authority (insert punk anthem here), but I pick and choose my battles and I've never had a problem.
I can party like a rockstar all weekend, but then i can be found chillin, readin a book, painting, or making some web/graphic design. I love to be social, but then I'm independant and i need some recharge alone time.

I absolutely love music, and if I didn't chose art, music would be it. I have a secret dream to be a trip-hop singer. I'm into indie, punk, electro, classic rock, house, etc etc you name it....EXCEPT for country. I love going to shows and seeing live music or just out to a lounge or jazz bar. Any guy who can 'seriously' talk music with me definitely gets my attention. Please don't tell me your favorite band is ANY hair-band from the 80's unless you can creatively back it up of course!
I'm very laid-back, and easy-going, and I get along with all types of people. I love meeting new people-you never know what your gonna learn from someone. I'm often looking for that one interesting person in the bar to talk too. I'm very outgoing, and I love to laugh. I'm also pretty opinianated and hard-headed, but I'm always open to new ideas. I've been known to argue for fun from time to time, but it's really just 'active conversation', and I don't take things too personally. I'm passionate about life, and I like other passionate or creative people. I can't stand guys who are pushovers or take crap from people. I understand being nice and all, but at some point you have to stand up for yourself. I keep meeting all the nice guys who need me in their lives to have fun, I want to meet the other guys so we can both escalate the good times!

I'm kind of becoming multi-talented these days. It only recently dawned on me how confusing it is to try and describe all the things I do, but it makes perfect sense to me. I'm finishing art school in the spring and, I work as a freelance make-up artist. I also do freelance web and graphic design, and I am working on a start-up project with some other creative people for a potentially big social networking site that everyone knows about. I'm also a fashion designer. Semi-overwhelming, but they are all creative jobs, and I use similar skills in each one.

art, drawing, painting, computers and technical stuff, decorating, promoting, writing, giving friends great advice, cheering people up and being positive, sports and athletics...tennis, basketball, track, swimming etc..., procrastinating, noticing the small details in life, coming up with fun or creative ideas, partying, and driving too fast. a natural gift of common sense-I have few people I trust serious advice from more than my own, but I'd love to meet someone who can challenge that.

BOOKS: Jack Kerouac's On the Road and other interesting books, I have recently been on like a vintage book binge. I'm also reading Patti Boyd's autobiography.
MOVIES: Empire Records, The Saint, Spun, French Kiss, Fight Club, Gattica, Shawshank Redemption, View from the Top etc.
MUSIC:
mostly classic rock, indie rock, new age, trip-hop, house. I'm not really into R&B, but I'll dance to something if it's the jam.

whats goin on that day......music, people, art...etc..themes about life. I'm extremely perceptive, intuitive, and I like to try and figure people out and either help them or just amuse myself. I also spend a lot of time thinking about my career and how I can personally keep making my life better. I'm not one of those people who can just repeat the same pattern in life everyday. I have to mix it up, make it creative, or shake things up in one way or another. A good partner in crime in this is essential.

Out with friends, most likely to a concert or to see a band, partying, dancing, watching a movie, or i'm doing some random art project i decided to work on at 1am...i'm pretty spontaneous...and definitely a night person...

i'm deathly afraid of most bugs....yuck! not like crazy, but i don't like them crawling anywhere near me! Thank goodness for pest control! It's a pretty necessary attribute to have a boyfriend who can take care of that for me, but you'll definitely earn more points with me than it was worth.
