I'm not sure there's an easy way to sum myself up, but...

I analyze things too much, but its not for want of confidence. I enjoy getting wrapped up in a good story regardless of the medium used to express it. I enjoy being active and both playing and watching sports; plus I have lots of incredibly unimportant sports information in my head. I love philosophy, but don't read it as often as I wish I did. I enjoy conversation and differences of opinion, to me learning how another person has come to their opinion is fascinating. I'm sure there are lots of important things I'm leaving out, but I can't think of them [which is why I left them out].

I'm good with words, whether it be written or spoken (kind of important for my job). I pay a lot of attention which causes me to be a good listener and conversationalist.

My favorite books change too frequently to list. I enjoy mystery novels and I read as often as I can. If I had to pick a constant favorite it might be Plato's Republic (I was a philosophy minor during my undergrad).

Movies too many to list them all, but: Boondock Saints, Man on Fire, The Godfather, Lucky Number Slevin, Cool Hand Luke, Patton, and Wimbledon.

Shows: House, Criminal Minds, White Collar, Suits, Alphas, Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, and Big Bang Theory.

My musical taste is pretty eclectic, I like Eminem and Jay-Z, Rise Against and Green Day, Chopin and Mozart, Sinatra and Louie Armstrong, I love Johnny Cash (but prefer his newer stuff) and recently I've been on a huge Mumford & Sons/Avett Brothers kick.

Food, I'm primarily a meat and potatoes kind of guy; but the meat is Filet Mignon. I also really enjoy Italian food.

My friends, family, hat, father's ring, faith, and a good book.

Most everything, my mind tends to be in constant motion. I have no trouble focusing on one thing at a time I just tend to see it from all angles.

I really could be doing anything; a night out at a bar, shooting pool, bowling, movie, at a game, or a night in cooking, reading, maybe still watching a movie.

I'm not completely over the loss of my father; nor do I expect I ever will be.

You don't mind confidence that perhaps borders the realm of cockiness, are honest with who you are, and enjoy being challenged. You also must have at least one picture of you smiling, which I feel like is generally a good idea anyway.
