I am intellegent, friendly, and laid-back.
My Self-Summary
I normally don't really enjoy talking about myself, but do enjoy
listening to others. I've always been fascinated by people in
general. In college, I liked studying psychology and philosophy. I
am currently considering returning to school once everything
returns to whatever normal is.
I am also the father of a 7 year old. He keeps me busy with trying
to keep him entertained as well as the junior football stuff he
does half the year.
I also enjoy movies, music, games, and books. I would also like to
try some new things, go to interesting places, and meet some new
people.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm on a big self improvement kick. I have joined a gym a couple
months ago and work out regularly and I'm pleased with the progress
so far. I'm also contemplating going back to school next year and
getting my masters degree.
I’m really good at
My friends have called me a repository of useless information. So
that makes me pretty good at
trivia.
I used to be decent guitarist also. I stopped when my son was born,
but now that I have the time to devote to it, I've started playing
again. I'm a bit rusty at it but getting better.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told my eyes, smile and my soft spoken nature. I've also
been told I have a soothing calm voice.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Most anything by
Kurt Vonnegut,
Douglas Adams,
Stephen King, and
short stories by Harlan Ellison.
Movies: Movies directed by Terry Gilliam with my favorite being
either Brazil or 12 Monkeys.
Music: There is usually something to like about most types of
music, however I tend to listen to 90's alternative and classic
rock most often. I've really been getting into
Jeff Buckley lately. It was a
CD I bought ages ago and now feel compelled to listen to it over
and over.
The six things I could never do without
1. My son
2. Family
3. Friends
4. Music
5. Love
6. Hope
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future and how to improve myself and find happiness. I also
spend a lot of energy thinking of my sons future and my part in it.
On a typical Friday night I am
When I don't have my son, I try to hang out with friends. I also
enjoy most types of live music from coffee house accoustic stuff to
major concerts. Taking it easy at home is okay once in a while as
well.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I worry about too many things.
