My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I thrive on noise, people and companionship, as these are the things that enrich and recharge me! I have an incredibly random nature. I adore new places, new people, new food, new music, new facts (Did you know, the Spanish Inquisition had to give 30 days notice? Or that more than 50% of NASA employees are dyslexic?? OR that 1 in 10 Europeans are conceived in an IKEA bed?!)....But I digress (did I mention I'm easily distracted?), I'm here to keep the flow of new people into my life happening! (I fear I may also be an overuser of the humble exclamation mark, so rest assured I'm not always yelling, just generally excited to be saying whichever random thought it is I'm currently having! Oh, there I go....)

It's worth mentioning that I'm in an open relationship, and consider my lifestyle to be of a polyamorous ilk. It isn't always easy to quantify this kind of being, but it's enough to say I'm in a position to persue any sort of relationship that feels right.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Never forgetting a face and remembering the lyrics to the songs played on the AM station in my Mum's car growing up. Although the face thing used to be *really* annoying before the advent of IMDb (who IS that person? I've seen them in something, ohhhh, you know, that show, what was it??)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
"Lookit the pretty rainbow hair Mummy, looook, LOOOK!!" Now couple this with my penchant for bizzare leggings, my facial piercings, the likely holographic accessory and mad boots, and, well...*shrugs*

There's also a chance I could be talking to myself.....
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

These five things fill in or enhance all the gaps in my days and nights!! I do have a somewhat Game of Thrones sized hole in my life now, which I filled with Orange is the New Black, which of course just made a bigger hole, so my latest stop gap is Hannibal. (Update- DONE! Now it's Orphan Black, Wentworth and Ray Donovan)

Music is such an integral part of me as a person. Live shows come close to being a spiritual experience for me, and I use music to enhance my mood, a situation, or to either cheer me up or wallow in! I may or may not construct soundtracks to situations in my head sometimes...

Food, well, just YES. They've just opened a Messina near me, so my hipster Sydney lifestyle is near complete.

As for books, I bounce around somewhat between my comfy faves ( Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Philip Pullman ), my attempts at understanding the brain and why we do things ( Jon Ronson, Oliver Sacks, Malcolm Gladwell) and big long fantasy series' ( Terry Goodkind, Raymond E Feist, etc). Definately in the mood for someone/something new though!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Beyond what shenanigans I can convince my friends to get up to, not a huge amount to be honest. I'm much more of a doer than a thinker. I actually tend to do my best thinking when I have a soundboard to bounce things off, which is why I try to surround myself with people whose insights and experiences outweigh my own. So a better opening statement for me would be "I spend my time talking about...". With that as a starting point, lately it would be gender identities, the thoughts and feelings that come with polyamory, just how many kinks I can find on FetLife that I need to Google, and because AS IF I always think that deeply, what I'm gonna paint my nails next. ;)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no typical for me, and besides, typical is dull. And not being a 9 to 5er it's rarely the end of my week. Lame question OkC, go home, you're drunk.

You possess the ability to write more than, "Hey, how you doing?"

You're down with poly, or keen to learn more.

You think science is cool.

You'll let me paint your nails.

Ok, the above is optional, but it sure would count in your favour!
