My self-summary
I'm a colourful, geeky, confident, open minded, rainbow haired weirdo who loves the quirkier things in life! I thrive on noise, people and companionship, as these are the things that enrich me! I have an incredibly random nature as my thoughts tend to bounce around like a jackrabbit on speed! I adore new places, new people, new food and oh, new cocktails! It's always time for cocktails!....But I digress (did I mention I'm easily distracted?), I'm here to keep the flow of new people into my life happening! (I fear I may also be an overuser of the humble exclamation mark, so rest assured I'm not always yelling, just generally excited to be saying whichever random thought it is I'm currently having! Oh, there I go....)

It's worth mentioning that I'm in an open relationship, and consider my lifestyle to be of a polyamorous ilk. It isn't always easy to quantify this kind of being, but it's enough to say I'm in a position to persue any sort of relationship that feels right.
What I’m doing with my life
I've recently started a new job which has been one of the best things to happen to me in recent times, as I went from a place where I was basically a creature from another universe, to a place filled with my people!! I feel like my soul is being restored, which is leaving me in a much better place to continue to create and pursue my passion, which is my humble little nail art business!

The other benefit of being in such a zen place job wise is feeling like I have enough room in my head and my heart to form new friendships and delve a little deeper into what I feel may be a slightly kinky side.
I’m really good at
Never forgetting a face and remembering the lyrics to the songs played on the AM station in my Mum's car growing up. Although the face thing used to be *really* annoying before the advent of IMDb (who IS that person? I've seen them in something, ohhhh, you know, that show, what was it??)
The first things people usually notice about me
Well, this one is kinda obvious, you don't get to walk around with rainbow hair and not have people notice. I've actually really enjoyed this rainbow hair ride, the most random people comment and begin conversations with me, and ohhh bless the little children, "Look at the pretty rainbow hair Mummy, look at it, LOOK!!" Now couple this with my penchant for bizzare leggings, my facial piercings, the likely holographic accessory and mad boots, and, well, I get noticed...*shrugs*

There's also a chance I could be talking to myself to....just saying...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
These five things fill in or enhance all the gaps in my days and nights!! I do have a somewhat Game of Thrones sized and shaped whole in my life now, which I filled with Orange is the New Black, which of course just made a bigger whole, so my latest stop gap is Hannibal.

Music is such an integral part of me as a person. Live shows come close to being a spiritual experience for me, and I use music to enhance my mood, a situation, or to either cheer me up or wallow in! I may or may not construct soundtracks to situations in my head sometimes...

Food, well, just YES. They've just opened a Messina near me, so my hipster Sydney lifestyle is near complete.

As for books, I bounce around somewhat between my comfy faves ( Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Philip Pullman ), my attempts at understanding the brain and why we do things ( Jon Ronson, Oliver Sacks, Malcolm Gladwell) and big long fantasy series' ( Terry Goodkind, Raymond E Feist, etc). Definately in the mood for someone/something new though!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Beyond what shenanigans I can convince my friends to get up to, not a huge amount to be honest. I'm much more of a doer than a thinker. I actually tend to do my best thinking when I have a soundboard to bounce things off, which is why I try to surround myself with people whose insights and experiences outweigh my own. So a better opening statement for me would be "I spend my time talking about...". With that as a starting point, lately it would be gender identities, the thoughts and feelings that come with polyamory,, wait, there is something I've spent an inordinate amount of time thinking about lately. I decided to finally do something I've been meaning to forever, which is to make a playlist for sexy fun times *waggles eyebrows*....such a ridiculous thing to admit to, but there it is! Every time I hear a song lately I'm thinking of it in terms of whether it would work, and if so, which point in the list it would fit! ( I also take requests ;P)
