Well, hiya! I'm originally from the Lone Star State, but I've lived in Missouri, Florida, France, China, the Middle East, and Canada. Needless to say, I love globetrotting and can see myself living abroad again someday (Edinburgh? Prague? Tokyo? The possibilities are endless!). But for now, I found a fantastic job doing what I love with equally magnificent coworkers, so I can see myself staying in Colorado for a while.
I haven’t built up much of a social scene here yet, but in my previous lives, I’ve quite enjoyed going out dancing with friends, trying new foods and activities, drinking socially, being a total tourist with my huge camera at the popular spots, or just hanging out at home with a good movie or book. I love going on walks and hikes, even if I am seriously athletically challenged when it comes to any competitive sport (zero hand/eye coordination, tragically), and would love to have a hiking buddy for the weekends. I also enjoy most types of water recreation, such as swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, rafting, etc. I’m a bit of a pack animal; I do not enjoy being alone and prefer to have company, even if we are reading different books on different couches. It’s the companionship that counts.
According to a recent online survey of 1,700 adults, 43 percent of online daters consider bad grammar a “major” turnoff. More than a third (35 percent) think good grammar is sexy. I am definitely in the 35 percent.
