I totally just nailed the guitar intro for 'Hot for Teacher' by Van Halen while rescuing an orphanage of kittens from a fire. Later on tonight I'm gonna do some other really cool stuff like play video games and read academic journals. Oh shit, wait a second, that's not cool at all! I'm a nerd!

Books... Plato's The Republic, Machiavelli's The Prince, JS Mills' On Liberty. Just recently started A Song of Ice and Fire series (and fiction in general for that matter), currently reading A Clash of Kings and it's fucking fantastic.

Movies... nerd classics like Star Wars, LoTR, The Matrix trilogy (shut up I like all of them), Donnie Darko, Shawshank Redemption, Inception, and perhaps even Tron simply for its musical score.

Shows... don't watch a lot of current TV instead I download a series after I hear it's worth watching. Currently on season 3 of Mad Men!

Music... whatever sounds good. From pop punk, prog, and metal to classical and oldies.

Food... not Japanese. Please, anything but Japanese! Favourite dish has to be good ol' spaghetti and meat balls!

Boring stuff like food, water, and a breathable atmosphere. Beyond that I'd say Tim Horton's coffee (two cream no sugar, thank you), my family, and Hockey Night in Canada.
