My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Randy Marsh is my spirit animal. My whole life has been in flux. I've been traveling since I was twelve for school and work. I love traveling because it lets me experience the world from many different perspectives. I love Friday and Saturday nights at a bonfire with friends or stargazing. But I'm also down to see concerts at a house party.

I'm looking for someone who genuinely enjoys life, has a wide sense of humor, an open mind, and can nerd out over anything.

Bill Nye the Science Guy was my childhood hero.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently I'm in grad school at WMU because I love nerding out to rocks (not the kind you can smoke). If you're curious, I'm studying geology.

I've started making art. Usually it is fanart for the things I love to read, watch, or play.

Now that it's Autumn I'm looking forwards to seeing the leaves and constellations changing, hot drinks, and Halloween!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Mountain biking and talking about science. Given the time and resources, I can do either one for hours....or simultaneously!

My friends tell me I'm good at seeing things from different perspectives. This has gotten me in trouble. I've recently started asserting myself more. From childhood to my early 20's I was a fairly quiet and shy person, not anymore. This has also gotten me in trouble. It's all about the learning process.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That would depend on the who does the noticing. But in general people say I'm friendly and intense. There's usually a goofy smile on my face after learning something awesome in class.

During the winter I wear an large red and gold Harry potter scarf on campus.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1.) The ability to memorize random things: really helps with trivia night and geology exams!
2.) My active imagination: keeps me from getting bored.
3.) My family and friends all over the US: I wish I had more time to talk to all of them.
4.) My Car: my trusty travel companion.
5.) The Internet: how else would OkCupid exist!?
6.) My laptop: for research
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
-Rocks and minerals.

-How as living organisms, we are the universe experiencing itself.

-The meaning of freedom. I'm slowly becoming a Left-Libertarian.

-How various systems of oppression, dominance, and discrimination seek to undermine and underprivilege people of color, women, the poor, and the LGBTQ community.

I'm not a typical "rocks-for-jocks" kind of geologist.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Studying, researching, or working. The grad life is totally fun!

When I have free time I am at Bell's, Vine neighborhood house parties, or making art with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I went to a hippie boarding school in the deep South. I used to hide rum in a removable soap caddy in my dorm room shower. They never caught me!
