Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Down-to-earth, weekend extrovert who loves dancing the night away
to funk and rock music. But sometimes prefers a quiet Saturday
night with wine and friends.
I love being random, but when I suddenly become passionate about
something I become hyper focused on it. That is why I'm in grad
school for geology. Having the time of my life right now!
From 2012 to 2013 I spent a year traveling and working across the
country, visited most of the continental US. This one time I
explored a cave no one had ever gone into before, perks of being a
I'm looking for someone who genuinely enjoys life, has a wide sense
of humor, an open mind, and can nerd out over anything neat.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently pursuing a masters degree in geology at Western Michigan
I moved to Kalamazoo in September 2013 to be away from home. After
spending a year traveling, moving back in with my parents did not
appeal to me. I still love them though.
I'll start mountain biking again once it gets warmer. Going hiking,
camping, and stargazing are part of my summer plans.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

My friends tell me I'm good at seeing things from all perspectives.

That would depend on the person doing the noticing.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1.) The ability to memorize random things: really helps with trivia
night and geology exams!
2.) My active imagination: keeps me from getting bored.
3.) My family and friends all over the US: I wish I had more time
to talk to all of them.
4.) A good study lamp: helps me see those tiny rock cross sections
5.) My Kindle: I can read Lord of the Rings with the lights off in
my bed! Also, space saving. I love reading books made out of paper,
but books can become a heavy problem for a traveler like
6.) My laptop: it's my window into the world outside of the US.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working and studying. The grad life is totally fun!
My real "get loose" night is on Saturday when I invite friends over

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I went to a hippie boarding school in the deep South. I used to
hide rum in a removable soap caddy in my dorm room shower. They
never caught me!
