I am wiggly, adventurous, and lazy.
My Self-Summary
I recently tried to learn how to ride a motorcycle. I wiped out and
banged myself up pretty good. Will I get back on and try again?
Absolutely. I'm tenacious like that. Or just stupid.
I tend to take care of others before I take care of myself. I hate
spending money on myself - especially on clothes, even though I
know I need some. I feel like I'm the opposite of a hoarder - the
less stuff I have the better, but that's probably because I move
all the damn time.
Work and school occupy my time a lot, but when the mood strikes
I'll draw. It's not something I'm passionate about, but I enjoy it
nonetheless. I like making comics the best - I like drawing out all
the funny stories that pop into my head. It's good therapy for when
my brain needs to take a break.
I'm very self conscious about myself. I'm very aware that I'm
taller than average and probably not as skinny as I could be. I'm
not as strong as I'd like to be and I never really get the grades I
want in school. Despite this, however, I look on the positive side
more often than not. I'm also learning to think before I say things
to avoid catastrophic consequences.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm originally from Baltimore, but moved out here to California for
work. I love it out here and hope to make San Francisco my
permanent home someday. I am currently in school, taking some
miscellaneous classes to wrap up my associates so I can move onto
studying business (fun, right?). In the meantime I'm living like
every 22 year old and taking life one day at a time, casually
enjoying and partaking in any adventures that come my way.
I’m really good at
Lashing out with all my limbs like an octopus playing the drums.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm tall.
My glasses look cool.
I have a nice smile.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I enjoy reading anything, really. Romantic fiction, history text
books, political/religious opinionated drabble, manga/comics that
inspire me.
Movies, well, there are too many to list. Comedies are my top
choice, and then foreign films and action flicks where chicks kick
ass (i.e. Kill Bill). I do watch a lot of cartoons. The entire
adult swim lineup is pretty rad.
Music is something I'll never really get tired of. I love yet hate
that I rely on others to create music for me. I wish I could make
my own but I lack that talent. I enjoy a wide range of things from
twee to rap to dance to riot grrl to nerdcore hiphop to hardcore
groundthumping headbanging metal. I really love going to shows and
just being around people who share the same love I have for
whatever music that particular artist is making.
I'm afraid I have to admit that I'm ignorant in the ways of
cooking. I do appreciate a nice home cooked meal, though.
Especially if it's something italian.
The six things I could never do without
Intellectual stimulation (as long as it's not of the algebraic
kind)
Internet
Glasses
Toothbrush
Adventure
Spontaneity
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What tomorrow will bring. Things in my world have a habit of
changing in an instant.
On a typical Friday night I am
It varies. I could be at work. I could be volunteering against my
will. Most likely I am in San Francisco dancing and drinking at a
club, or I'm here in (oh so lovely) Fairfield smoking hookah and
enjoying a few beers with the boys.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I think hands are really sexy. I love to draw them.
You should message me if
Right now I'm in no rush to date or jump into bed with anybody.
I've made the mistake before of having girlfriends who weren't just
friends first. I want to fall in love with my best friend. So, I
guess what I'm really looking for is someone with whom I can be a
wallflower. Then we can see what happens from there.
