My Self-Summary
Please excuse my lack of a witty opener, since the expiration date
on my previous one passed, and I haven't managed to find a new one
yet. If you get to know me, you'll find my humor very random in
many ways, including random timing, random content, and random
quality. And occasionally random non-existence.
I went to a few countries in Europe this summer, and a couple years ago I spent a year in Japan. I like to think I lead a rather interesting life, although between the let-loose times I do some serious work as well. Currently that's Grad School at the University of Michigan.

What I’m doing with my life
I just moved to Ann Arbor to continue my research in Artificial
Intelligence (that's right, robot brains!) at UMich. It's both a
Goal and a Joy!
I love languages, but unfortunately due to many other time-consuming aspects of life I've only gotten really good at Japanese and Spanish. And well, I suppose English too, on good days. I've started on Chinese also, although that's on hold for a while.

The first things people usually notice about me
I wear t-shirts with uncommon funny sayings on them when I can. One
of my favorites is "I'm smiling, that alone should scare
you."
While there's nothing wrong with say Hot Topic shirts, I prefer more unique ones. I also like to have some that aren't black.

Thinking in other languages, I suppose. Along with many other random things, including but not limited to:
Ideas for short stories & novels I'll never have time to write (or will I?),
Ideas for inventions I'll never have time to invent with a day job (or WILL I?),
Why intriguingly the bread is better in Tokyo, not Paris (soft crust wins),
42 (I hope most of you know what that means I'm actually thinking about)...

I actually want to meet people on this site. In real life, and not
just for a one night stand. I know, apparently that makes me some
sort of lunatic, but oh well.
