I'm kind of a lunatic for Shakespeare and classic literature. My
dorm at school is usually littered with random Harold Bloom
criticisms and the sundry works of other crotchety bastards that
take 'theatre' to a hyper-meta and self-serious next level.
Kierkegaard says it's human nature's attraction to the absurd that
draws people to religion -- well, it's literature for me.
Movies and I have a pretty strange relationship, too. Like, I can't
stand super well-produced action movies, but I LOVE those awfully
ham-fisted productions that estranged german producers release as
some sort of tax write-off. Oh man, those Uwe Bull movies are
terribly good. Haha, I'm not actually an adrenaline-movie junkie,
I'm a little partial to dramas, so that was a weird tangent back
there. Anyway, I get it, yeah, you're looking for a list. Soooo, in
the pantheon of my top movies, I'd say Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet,
Fistful of Dollars and Mall Rats rank pretty high.
Ostensibly, I should hate video games in my burgeoning adulthood,
but whatever, they're still pretty awesome time wasters!
Faux serious scenario: (Bro) "Yo dawg, wanna hit-up some tight
biddy tonight? C'mon, 'ronas and 'ritas down at Phi Kap!" (Myself)
"Naw, broheim, I'm totally level 23 and rollin' deep with some
fiery-death-purple armor, I can't creep tonight"
So yeah, for the those still reading, that might be a wee bit
hyperbolic, since I'm not so awful and maladjusted that I put that
shit above actually doing things with people. I do have some
nerd-guy tendencies, though; and I am kinda reserved until I learn
someone's boundaries -- how crass and smarty-pants I can be around
Food-wise I'm sort of picky. Chances are, if the meal's preparation
is more involved than talking into an intercom or opening a bag
with my teeth then I'll probably hate it.
Okay, okay, you want lists -- I know.

anachronism at this point. Though, I still kinda have this ironic
appreciation of the WWE-- especially for all its tasteless story
contrivances and hubris
**In my quest for consuming as much culture as humanely possible,
I've sort of had a falling out with novels. Haha, it's probably a
change for the worst and an omen of regression, but I just can't
focus on any given media for more than 30 minutes -- hell, even
movies are a test of endurance. I'm finding that my brain is
demanding a higher level on interactivity from things in order to
remain engaged -- or maybe I'm just ADHD and need amphetamines!
