I love gaming. I
love board
games, card
games, drinking games, tabletop games, and
especially video
games. I play online with a lot of my free time, but my
favorite thing to do with friends is sit down with them and play
for fun competition (read: I play to win but I have fun losing). If
you game too, it's definitely a plus! But I don't mind if the
gaming is my "me time," so long as you know it's never going to
stop...
I'm basically a social nerd, meaning I like partying and alone time pretty equally. Social activity drains me though, even if it's just a small get together with a group of friends. While alone time (ideally that includes time with my girl) is more refreshing or relaxing.

What I’m doing with my life
I just got a master's degree in Architecture, and I have a career
started at a great firm. I enjoy my work, and can occasionally get
really involved in my tasks if I'm learning something new or doing
something really nifty, but at the end of the day it's more a job
than my passion. I work overtime when needed, and I try to do a
good job, but I'm fine progressing up the career ladder at a slow
pace.
I’m really good at
Math. For example, I can recite pi to TWO places (Out of a text
book and off the internet).
The first things people usually notice about me
My shyness is intense at first but melts away fast, even if no one
breaks the ice. It normally just takes one statement or opinion
that I can relate to and I'm good to go!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Wheel of
Time takes the cake for books. All fantasy and sci-fi follows. I also like Historical
Fiction or (more rarely) history books, particularly Bernard Cornwell's
stuff. Learning history can be fascinating, but it sure helps if
you have interesting characters and personal plots to keep it
going.
I'm pretty bland in the movies, music, and food department, I have no big passions. I do AVOID horror movies and spicy food though. And I'd maybe touch country music if I had a 10 foot pole handy.

challenges, the ability to laugh, nostalgia, hope, spontaneous
activities, and french fries.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the many ways in which our planet could cease to exist before we
were even aware it was in danger. How awesome it would be if there
was intelligent life out there, maybe even in our own solar system
(the moons of Jupiter people! My thesis touched on it, message me
if that sounds interesting ;) ). Other universal questions... Once
you start imagining all the possible forms existence could take it
really doesn't end...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm sappy. I enjoy, and tear up during, chick flicks... or touching
"NCIS" and "Law and Order"
episodes... or commercials that pull heartstrings. I'm about as far
from manly man as possible in that department.
