If I had to pick the biggest problem I deal with every day, it's the fact that I want to socialize, but all the other members of my particular little subculture of nerds is almost as antisocial as me, and almost entirely male. And the company I work at is literally 99% male. I want to meet women, but the things I do and the place I work don't do me any favors there. And it certainly doesn't help that I have never liked bars or clubs, pretty much at all.
I've only recently managed to pull myself of the shell I was in after I left college. I moved to a new area with no friends, and a job that didn't require me to talk, and I basically fell off the map for three years. Thankfully, I was dragged back into the world by a few close friends who reminded me how awesome hanging out with people can be. I love to talk, I love to listen. Some of the most fun I've had was just sitting with a couple friends in a restaurant for hours at a time, talking and laughing with each other.
