I support same sex marriage rights, parental rights (two parents on birth certificate of the same sex along with the mother's if different/desired), and more.
The tools of oppression are always used "for a good cause".
Sen. Joe McCarthy used public pressure to get people fired from private employment for legal political speech. He is smiling from his grave right now at OKCupid's tactics to get Eich fired for a political contribution that he made before he started to work at Mozilla. I am eagerly awaiting OKCupid's condemnation of President Bill Clinton for signing DOMA while campaigning on the "accomplishment" in 1996 and a demand for a boycott of the Democratic party until he is ousted. (Sarcasm alert for the sarcasm impaired)
Jerry Falwell love these tactics. The AFA still does. OKCupid just validated the tools of oppression. "I am OKCupid, and I approve these tools of oppression!" seems to be the message.
The stupid thing is that we are winning the argument the right way, and OkCupid starts to overreach. If this continues on, it will create a backlash.
The Republicans are not the only stupid party!
