I used to consider myself a bit of a geek, but I don't think that applies, at least not right now. It's been a while since I've done anything remotely geeky. It's like being a vegetarian (which I'm not). You can't call yourself a vegetarian if you're suckin' down sirloins. You need to be practicing vegetarianism. Same goes for being a geek. I used to buy comics, play all sorts of board / rpg / video games, dress up like Spock and accost people at RadioShack. OK, that last one isn't true (it was Circuit City). But I no longer have time for such geeky endeavors. I consider myself a fairly normal guy -- with geeky interests.

I work in the fast paced, dog-eat-dog world of an office mailroom. When I'm home, I'm working on a webcomic. I'd post the url but something tells me that would be, I don't know...gauche.

Books:The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Stephen King's Skeleton Crew, Lots of "Dummies" books relating to computers and web design.

Movies: Good heavens, too many to list. Star Wars Trilogy (the original), LOTR, all of Kevin Smith's flicks (love the commentary tracks even more. They are hilarious!), Unforgiven, Primer, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Most of the Star Trek movies, The Shawshank Redemption, Almost all of Speilberg's movies, Pulp Fiction, Man on Wire, No Country for Old Men, Hot Fuzz, Waiting for Guffman.

Music: I'm all over the map on this one. As long as it's not country or rap I'll give it a chance. My favorite type of music is movie scores.

How I can make my comic strip better.

Eating chinese food and watching a new flick on dvd. Is it sad that I really do enjoy doing that on Friday night?
